It's really week to hold EX-1. I wouldn't recommend it even if it was just for $5.

Comments about Anton Bauer STASIS FLEX Shoulder Mount Camera Stabilizer:
Using a Panasonic HVX200, so it's a relatively light mount. It was VERY front heavy and required a lot of arm support. The metal bar in front that connects chest pad bent completely on my first use, so what little shoulder support I had was now completely gone. What is it, aluminum? What I'm talking about here is the bar and pad that rests on your chest. Without that piece, then ALL the weight will be in front on your arms... which defeats the purpose of the device. SO, to tackle the problem, I cut a steel rod and replaced the flimsy front piece. It offered SOME support, but was still quite front heavy. THEN the bar broke through the little half inch piece of plastic that holds the bar to the chest pad. I'm a bit frustrated here. I'll epoxy the little piece of plastic, then add more weight to the back, but I don't think this unit is going to work out.

Comments about Anton Bauer STASIS FLEX Shoulder Mount Camera Stabilizer:
I tried it out once and returned it. Camera is too top heavy, the shoulder harness just tends to slide forward and you end up holding the camera anyway so it is completely useless.

Comments about Anton Bauer STASIS FLEX Shoulder Mount Camera Stabilizer:
Purchased for use with a PMW-EX1. The device could not support the camera to any useful degree, the flexible portion attached to the camera does not lock sufficently to keep the camera stable, the shoulder/chest end of the device is so flexible it makes stability impossible. This device is of no real use.

Comments about Anton Bauer STASIS FLEX Shoulder Mount Camera Stabilizer:
Appeared great but doesn't function so easily. If camera is more than a few pounds, the soft metal of the chest pad bends and you're soon supporting all the weight of the camera again. Flexible arms never locks just where you'd like it to be... always a click off to one side or the other.

Comments about Anton Bauer STASIS FLEX Shoulder Mount Camera Stabilizer:
I've only used it once, but this product is vastly superior to the original stasis. Only problem I've had is it slips occasionally, but that may be because I don't have it for the weight of the camera.
