The Kirk PO-2 Low Pod is a large aluminum platform that rests on four rubber covered feet. It features a 3/8" screw at its center, and can be used with any ballhead or gimbal-style head that features 3/8" threads. It is especially ideal for use during ground-level close-up or wildlife photography. It even sports a carrying handle to help you move about quickly. The four rubber-covered feet keep the mount stable on rocks and other uneven surfaces.
