The mount comes with a 3/8" screw, and accepts (and requires) any standard tripod head that features a 3/8" threaded socket.

Comments about Kirk WM-2 Multi-Purpose Window Mount for Tripod Head (Requires Head):
This is an exceptionally well designed and built product. I was using it with a Canon 500mm lens and it held the lens beautifully - very stable mount. I could even open and close the door (gently of course) with the mount and lens attached and never was I concerned that it would fall off or move around.
If you're doing wildlife photography from your car and you want to leave your camera up and ready for longer periods, this is the perfect product.
The only problem encountered was with video. I used it with my 5D MkII for video and just couldn't get a perfectly stable, static shot. The connection to the window/door always managed to pick up some kind of slight vibration or wobble (engine was off and I even tried not breathing). I'd try the exact same shot on a tripod on solid ground and no problem. Of course, this was with the 500mm where slight vibration or movement is way more noticeable.
