The Kirk SGH-1 Super Grip Handle provides a handy and secure carrying solution to any gear equipped with an Arca-type foot or plate. It features Kirk's Arca-type quick release clamp on one side, and a handle with rubber padding on the other end.
It can be used attached to the underside of the tripod collar foot of long lenses (with the use of an Arca-type lens plate), providing a more secure carrying solution. Or it can be combined with the Kirk L-bracket/plate, allowing you to quickly move away from the tripod. You can also use it as a small support platform, to improve camera stability in tight situations. The generous rubber padding protects against marring surfaces when used this way.

Comments about Kirk SGH-1 Super Grip Handle, with Arca-Type Quick Release Mount:
I use this with a 5d II with a kirk L-Bracket. Using the grip allows me to hold the camera with both hands in a rock steady position. The grip attaches just like my tripod head with a quick turn of the screw. The grip is solid and I have no reservations carying the camera and lens combo just by the handle. Gives my shooting hand a break. Can also be used as a mini rest to shoot from.

Makes heavy telephotos like the 70-200 lens or relative others a breeze to carry around, provided you remove the unnecessary neckstrap from the camera body.
