The 3GM 3G/1.5G HD-SDI Multiplexer from Aja is a tool that allows for the interconnection of dual-link 1.5G SMPTE372M and 3G SMPTE425M. This is a bidirectional device, allowing for the configuration of dual 1.5G to 3G or vice versa. Input signals are equalized and reclocked with jitter attenuation. All ancillary data in the signal is passed from the input to the outputs.
The unit's output can be configured for SMPTE425M type A or B. It is also capable of converting 3G to and from SMPTE425M type A or B.
A single link SMPTE292M 1.5G HD-SDI monitor output is included. This unit is also compatible with SMPTE259M 270Mb SDI.
