The digital camo Lens Cover for the Canon 300mm f/2.8 IS Lens from LensCoat covers the lens with a 100% closed-cell neoprene coat, offering protection from bumps, jars and nicks. This coat will allow you to blend in with your surroundings. It is ideal for nature and outdoor photographers, sports shooters and photojournalists.
A LensCoat Lens Cover also provides a thermal barrier, protecting your hands from cold lenses in lower temperatures. It is easy to install and remove, leaving no residue on the lens. It is waterproof, providing protection in harsh conditions. The Digital Camo is an advanced computer generated camouflage pattern. It is modeled after the U.S. Army's standard-issue ACU pattern, which provides a pixelated pattern that maximizes visual break up. The pattern, constructed from small rectangular pixels of color, mimics naturally occurring dappled textures and rough boundaries.

An excellent way to protect your expensive lenses from getting nicked or scratched while working, storing or transporting. Easy to install and fits like a glove. The plastic see through cover is perfect as it allows for ease of use while also protecting against accidental switching of controls. Great product!

Easy to install, all buttons are still accessable. Looks good on the lens. I expected the pading to be a little thicker, but it still works well and provided the level of protection I was expecting.
