For [$] this is a good bargain. It serves its purpose. No complaints at all.1.It is perfectly waterproof. The sealing mechanism is very good. Absolutely no water found its way inside.2. There was a little fog(as some people have said) inside but it was very little. Small spots. I think the key to not having any fog inside is to roll out as much air as possible and then seal the case.3. Operating the camera is a little difficult at first. But a little practice and voila its very easy to operate. 4. Pictures come out good. Very good actually. And the best part, you don't have to use it only underwater. Since it is waterproof you can use it for any water activities. Beaches, kayaking, tubing, rafting.I haven't tested as to how deep you can take the camera. But it should be good enough till 5mts underwater. That's what it says. Its good enough for snorkeling.Bottom line is that for [$] it does everything it says. Some people here complained that its difficult to operated. But I think once you get a hang of it(which you do by taking 3-4 pictures) its very easy to operate. I think for the amount I paid, it did good (the hell [$] bucks is a good value).

I bought this underwater case for my Canon SD880 but I found that it didn't fit the camera very well. When turning on the camera I had to pull the case apart otherwise the lens would jam into case because the lens opening is not long enough for this camera (even when zoomed out all of the way). Also, the camera would shift in the bag because of the excess room which would cause the lens to not always align with the lens opening. It was annoying having to always adjust the camera inside the case to make sure I could turn on the camera without causing lens errors (which happen when the lens meets resistance when it is opening).
This product would be better if there was a built in mechanism for keeping the camera positioned within the case. Also, the dial control near the right edge of the camera is inaccessible when inside the case. Pressing buttons is easy but spinning the dial was impossible for me. I also had problem with fogging inside the case but this only happened after repeatedly removing and inserting the camera into the case. If you put the camera in the case and seal and don't reopen it then you shouldn't have a problem with fogging.
I did manage to get good underwater photos with this case but it was inconvenient to use. The Canon SD880 is not specifically listed as a supported model for the WP-410 but this case was the closest fit based on the dimensions supported by the bag. This case might be more suitable for cameras whose zoom lens is not quite as long as the SD880.

I just came back from my trip to Cancun, Mexico! Im glad i purchased this waterproof case!! The funny thing was, when i arrived to my snorkeling activity, i saw few people with the same brand as mine. Thats how i knew Dicapac is a wellknown brand... I swam with turtles and dolphins, i did snorkeling pretty much for the whole week, and no water inside the dicapac, i was really happy and not even exagerating!! Um the only concern was, it was kinda hard to press on the button with all the water around so few pics came out with a black ring around the subject...BUT it makes a cool one, its look like a lomographic photo! anyhow i was glad i bought the dicapac instead of buying an expensive waterproof cam! dont hesitate to try it!

Perfect alternative to custom hard water cases. Would have been 5-stars if not for minor issue with zoom lens. Needs to be in perfect alignment or else lens does not fully extend out.
Camera is a Canon S90.

Comments about DiCAPac WP-410 Waterproof Case:
Used this waterproof bag with my Canon Powershot while snorkeling in Turks & Caicos. I was a bit nervous to try it, but after passing the "tissue test", I dove right in. My camera was dry as a bone everytime. ( I would say I used it in the water about 10 times.) Sometimes it was a bit tricky to use the camera controls, but all in all it was easy to use. For the price (compared to the custom waterproof cases) I thought it was well worth the money.

Comments about DiCAPac WP-410 Waterproof Case:
In theory, this is a great idea. I got the bag for a ELPH300HS. After going to to the manufacturer's website, their fitment chart shows that this is the correct bag for this camera. However, even with the extension ring installed, you can't use the zoom on the lens without the lens hitting the front of the lens housing.
Also, since the camera does not fit tightly in the bag, the camera can slide around and when you try to turn the camera on, the lens is not lined up properly with the hole for the lens.
Use of the controls through the bag is fine for push-button controls, but for zoom controls, or mode switches, it feels like you're going to punch a hole through the bag with your fingernails.
Ultimately, it'll work. But I wish I would have spent the extra few bucks for a hard case instead.

Comments about DiCAPac WP-410 Waterproof Case:
I am a whitewater kayaker and am using this to document some of my trips with my Canon SD1200 IS. It's been pretty good, but in order for it to really work well on the fly I had to taped it so that it molded around my camera. It makes zooming very difficult, as well as changing between still and video. If it isn't lined up properly the lens faults which can be annoying. For the money, it's a great solution if you already have a camera you want to take out to the water, but I will end up just buy a shock and water proof camera once I can afford it. One sketchy feature is the lanyard, it has unsecure clip attachments and I am going to have to make a more secure lanyard so that when I flip over in my boat it stay attached to me. Another thing that is annoying is that, even though the lens is actually really clear and allows you to use the zoom, it makes it very awkwardly shaped and doesn't fit in any conventional pocket. I'm going to make a custom holster for it, but it's clearly a nuisance.
Bottom Line: cheap solution for current camera, wouldn't recommend if you can afford even a cheap weather proof camera.

Used this with our two Nikon Coolpix cameras at and around Niagara falls. It performed well. Able to zoom and pick different scene settings without removing the camera from the bag. When we got very close to the falls, we had to keep wiping the water off the front of the lens, but that was ok. The lens stayed dry and it wasn't a big deal. If the camera were completely underwater it would be fine, but didn't try it. Did test it with the bag completely underwater before using it.

I have been using this case for my SD4000 IS and it works great. I love the underwater shots and I even shot a video going down a water-slide. The price is right and it works, not a drop on my camera.

Purchased for a Fujifilm Finepix A220 for snorkeling and used 3 different times over a 4 day period. The product worked great ... not even a hint of mositure inside the case during use. Note: if you are in the water and surface and decide to take a picture while not under water, just make sure you shake the case to remove any water droplets that may be clinging to the lens cap area.
This product was definitely worth the money and worked as designed. I heard someone on the snorkel boat that had a non-digital disposalable film camera comment that they had read on the internet that the camera case let moisture in and fogged up - obviously they were not reading about the the DICAPac. No moisture and no fogging - just great pictures of the reef and sea life.

This case is very versatile for many different environments. Took it on our vacation to Mexico and got great use out of it. It's great that I also can bring my camera along skiing, which is something I've always been afraid to risk. It worked perfectly and did not let any water in. Pictures came out very clear. Such an affordable price too. You definitely get a lot of bang for your buck with this product.

Comments about DiCAPac WP-410 Waterproof Case:
I'm a weekend "shoot and click" photographer that wanted to be able to take some cool pictures while I was kayaking, fishing or swimming and the WP-410 makes it possible. It's easy to load your camera in it and all the functions work unimpeded. I recently used it at the beach and it not only kept my camera dry it also kept it away from the sand and the pictures turned out great. One little problem I have with the WP-410 is that you have to zoom in a little for every picture; otherwise the pictures all look like you are looking through a tunnel with a black ring around the photo. This really isn't too big of a deal though; you just hit the zoom a little and the tunnel effect goes away. For the price, this is a great option for taking underwater pictures and protecting your camera from the elements.

Comments about DiCAPac WP-410 Waterproof Case:
I bought it for an older Panasonic TZ4. It fits overall, but the zoom maxes out at 3x (out of 10x). There is an extender ring in the box, but with that on, the camera won't power up at all as the lens gets stuck in the extender. In the end though, it's a lot better than the disposable cameras I would have used otherwise.
The case keeps water away, and the camera controls are easy to use. Thumbs up for a neat solution.

In a funny coincidence a friend of mine and I both bought this same unit at about the same time. He was thrilled with his results, I found it a little awkward to use. There is an included ring that is supposed to allow you to extend the area around the lens to accommodate a longer zoom lens, but the instruction sheet is pure gibberish and I couldn't figure it out - and I wasn't about to take my expensive camera into the ocean after guessing at a conversion. The build quality is good but the instructions are just terrible. I'll try it again down the line.

This product worked perfectly. I was afraid at first to use it but once I got it underwater it was fine. 4 out of 5 stars because it sometimes moved around inside and had black corners due to the lens area. also it slightly degraded the images and made them soft. but for this price, it can't be beat.

Comments about DiCAPac WP-410 Waterproof Case:
I used the 410 size with the new 12 megapixel Canon Elph 300 HS and loved it. It stayed totally dry underwater in the pool and while sea kayaking. We had our camera in it 90% of the time during our trip to Costa Rica just to be safe. It was great to just leave it by the pool and take it hiking without fear of it getting wet or sandy. I got lots of compliments on it from other people too.
Things that are great about it:
-It's a lot cheaper than Canon's waterproof casing
-It's pretty easy to get in and out (takes less than a minute)
-You can remove the lens cap to get clearer pictures if you have it in the case but aren't underwater or worried about it getting wet from rain
Things that aren't the best about it:
-It's a little tricky to use the zoom while in the bag
-When turning it on, you have to make sure the lens is lined up to the lens cover or you will get an error message on your camera and have to restart it
-The zoom on the Elph 300 is a little too long for the 410 size even with the zoom extension (it still works fine but when you zoom in you have to pull the camera back a bit in the bag because the zoomed lens is deeper than the lens cover of the bag

Comments about DiCAPac WP-410 Waterproof Case:
I purchased this waterproof case for my next trip to Kona. Upon arrival I tested the case, as the instructions indicate, and it is quite waterproof. After doing extensive web searches for waterproof cases, and without having to spend a small fortune as with solid plastic cases, this case will do just fine. One feature I enjoy is the solid, UV coated, lens housing. No distortions have been noted in any pictures I have taken, and as the lens housing area is solid it will not collapse as some all vinyl cases have a tendency to do due to water pressure. It's also tested to 10 meters (about 33 feet)which is much better than some waterproof cameras you can buy which are rated to only 10 feet. The case itself is a heavy vinyl material, yet flexible enough to allow operation of the all of the camera's control buttons.

Comments about DiCAPac WP-410 Waterproof Case:
Being a photographer, I love to take pictures. After my last camera drowned in the river, I decided to take precautions going near waters in the future with any new cameras/electronics. The hard plastic cases were too costly for me (I wouldn't even use it THAT much) the disposable waterproof cameras were complete junk!
Then I stumbled onto this camera case. There weren't too many reviews for it and the ones that had were alright, but the price was fantastic! So I bought it, and it does its job very well once sealed, there is NOT a single drop of water/moisture inside the case as other plastic bags would. It is very light weight, easy to use, and although I have not used it for very deep waters/distance, it seems to do a perfect job. I have used this multiple times already and I love it.
It is a great solution however, the few flaws are that it does not mold completely to the camera (which should be obvious), causing it to be a little more difficult to push and access your camera features. Also, sometimes you'll have to adjust the camera so that the 'black ring' won't appear in a picture, which is very simple and easy. The last of the problems is that you are not able to zoom with this casing. Once the camera lens feels too much pressure against it, it'll turn off. So if you have a large camera, get a larger case with an extended or maybe even no black ring hole? My camera just happens to be very small, and I haven't needed to use zoom so this little case is perfect for me.
I have the CanonPowershot sd880 if that helps on approximation in sizing.
