The Photoflex ProDuty BackDrop Support Kit includes a BackDrop Pole, two 2320Y LiteStands, and a rugged carry bag to hold the whole kit.
The BackDrop Pole is a single-unit with telescoping sections that constructs easily with a twist and pull motion to extend each section and another twist to lock in place. The Pole stores collapsed at 4' 7" and extends to 12' 6".
Each 2320Y LiteStand extends to 12' high. The extra height afforded with these stands means you can shoot your model from a low angle without seeing the top of the backdrop in your shot. These are exceptionally sturdy stands with a maximum load rating of 40 pounds. The "flip-top" design of the brass post adds versatility for multiple uses in your studio. The kit weighs 17 lbs.

This system was better than I expected! I was tired of my old photek system sagging in the middle, and the cheesy support stands slipping down do to the "self loosening" lock mechanisms.
This Photoflex system is NOTHING like the Photek. First off the stands are plenty sturdy and actually double as light stands more than capable of holding a flash head and large soft box. The locking mechanisms are solid and secure, and these stands go much higher than I will ever need! The crossbar is a very thick, telescoping rod, so no more assembling pre-sized lengths, just slide in or out to your exact width needed. The ends have wing nut locks to hold tight onto the stands. I use this to hang a custom EEFX green screen backdrop that has to be hung on 12 feet of crossbar. This Photoflex system has zero droop of the crossbar at 12 feet with this 10x12 foam backed backdrop hanging from it.
Telescoping crossbar is about 6” longer than the multi-piece systems when fully collapsed, but it all fits in the excellent carrying bag, not even close to being a deal breaker for me.
I would highly recommend this system as it has far exceeded my expectations.

Mine arrived with a defective cross-bar. It won't lock at length. [...] The non-locking is a minor annoyance. So -- other than that:I use this to hang cloth backdrops and 53" paper rolls. Works well. Strong, sturdy, seems well built and pretty well designed. The case works well for the three items (two stands and a telescoping crossbar), and that's all -- which I like.

Comments about Photoflex Pro-Duty Backdrop Support Kit:
I recently purchased this system so I'm not sure how reliable it will be in the long run, but so far it seems promising. The whole kit was pretty easy to assemble and didn't require much effort, although it does help to have a few people around when setting up a taller/wider backdrop. The frame itself seems strong but light. The carrying case was a nice touch too. I give it four stars because I have not yet seen if it withstands the test of time/travel, but compared to other similar-costing setups it seems like it's a good value for the cost.

Comments about Photoflex Pro-Duty Backdrop Support Kit:
The stand and pole are very sturdy and heavy-duty. A bit big (it barely fits in the back of my car.) It'll be great for my large-family shoots. The pole is thicker than I thought it would be, but it telescopes great. The bag is a really handy extra.

Comments about Photoflex Pro-Duty Backdrop Support Kit:
This stand was very easy to put up, pretty stable and well made. It's weight when folded up is not unbearable for transport, and the bag is an added bonus. The width and heights it can reach are great, as you can go from skinny to very wide/short to tall. I have only recently purchased and used this system, so I'm not sure how reliable it will be over time, but it seems promising. Overall I think it's a good value for the money and a nice starter kit.

I am an experienced photographer who needs stands and a set up like this from time to time. It is very well built and is sturdy. The case that comes with it is also quality and makes the entire system easy to transport, set up and take down. When Im not using the Backdrop function, I have two very sturdy stands with great height. My only complaint would be the stands are not air cushioned.

Comments about Photoflex Pro-Duty Backdrop Support Kit:
When I opened the box, I know I ordered something heavy duty and this set did not disappoint. All the other stands I have seen border on the flimsy side. This stand is more in line with my manfroto tri-pod than it is with a standard backdrop stand. I really like things that are built to last and I feel this is one of those things.

Comments about Photoflex Pro-Duty Backdrop Support Kit:
The stand and crossbar are study and well made. For not much more than the price of an entry-level kit, this kit is a big upgrade. The only thing to be aware of is the size of the collapsed stands and crossbar - because of the design and height, the minimum length is over 4 ft. long, which means it won't fit into most roadie or lighting cases.

This thing is very versatile. Can be used very narrow or extremely wide. Height is nice for shooting low, angled-up portraits so you don't have to worry about seeing the top of the kit. Very sturdy as well. Bag is a nice plus. Pleased with purchase.

Comments about Photoflex Pro-Duty Backdrop Support Kit:
I believe in purchasing a product once, meaning I don't want to opt for cheap, wait a couple months for it to break, and then decide if I want the next nicest version. This backdrop stand suits me well. Sturdy for anything I need, including some huge and heavy backgrounds. Doesn't sag, even when fully extended. I can manage it myself if no assistance is available. Overall, great purchase. Highly recommended.

This stand is big and strong. You may not always need the height and width, but when you do, it's there. The build quility is great. Do youself a favour and don't be tempted to buy the cheap stuff: you get what you pay for and this kit is great value for $$.

I needed a backdrop support for basic studio portraits that could be set up in my garage, and this filled the bill. Durable construction and flexible pole lengths really made this a slam dunk purchase.

Comments about Photoflex Pro-Duty Backdrop Support Kit:
I needed a solid portable backdrop for parties and events. LOVE this one. Very heavy duty and stable but light, simple to use, and it's huge vertically and horizontally. The only minor issue is when you put it up by yourself. When the horizontal bar is attached to the two stands and you raise the stands, the fit is so tight (benefit!) that you have to raise one side a few feet, lock it, then raise the opposite side a few feet, and so on because raising one too much will pull one of the stands inward. It's totally manageable, and other than that this is a wonderful backdrop.

Broke the first time I used it - the screw-in bolts which tighten and hold the poles up popped out of the housing, totally stripped and useless.

This is definitely the backdrop stand / support that you would want to get! Price may be higher than the other ones but it is worth your money!
The stands are solidly built, telescopic bar does not sag even maxed out to 12 feet. The carrying bag that comes with is is just perfect and makes way easier for travel.
Don't look at other stands this is the one that you would need especially if you are planning to use it long term and.

As far as durability, I can't compare it to other background supports because this is my first. Compared to the description of some of the other products required assembly, this one is a snap. So far so good.
