The Ambient Recording CLOCKIT TIMECODE LANC Logger is a small handheld device (3 x 2.1 x 1" / 75 x 55 x 23 mm) used for film or TV applications, and features an ARM processor. It is designed to fit on cameras, and functions as a CLOCKIT time code generator, reader, and converter. The LANC Logger offers compatibility with DV and HDV cameras, and computer based audio recorders with and without a time code input/output.
Equipped with a 512 MB flash card, the LANC Logger is able to store the log file and firmware updates in the memory, and is suitable for on location and post production applications. The LANC Logger converts LANC to LTC / MTC, LTC to MTC, MTC to LTC time code formats with selectable offset. In addition, it features interfaces such as the logger with 5-pin Lemo LTC, mini jack audio TC, LANC inputs/outputs, and USB. It is a 6 button keypad with OLED display that offers easy configuration and manual logging.
Featuring a 2-color OLED display with 128x64 pixels, the LANC Logger allows you to adjust the audio TC control from mic to line level, and enables in recording time code to audio track. TC interface with generator for Silicon Imaging SI2K camera and DVR software is supported by the LANC Logger. The MIDI time code can be accessed via a generic USB audio driver on PC and Mac.
The LANC Logger requires 2 AAA cells for power and backup, and can be externally powered through LANC and USB.
