The ARM Electronics VC1 allows an analog video signal to be sent over a UTP cable. UTP cables have a number of advantages over BNC cables, not the least being support for longer cable runs and cheaper cable material. UTP video transmission is also an obvious choice for buildings already wired for UTP.
