Comments about Steadicam F24LEABNH Flyer24-LE Camera Stabilizer System:
The steadicam is everything that it's supposed to be, both good and bad.
I'm using it in low mode (which, unless you have a camera with a very flat top, requires that you shoot upside down or buy more gear) in order to follow animals around.
One thing to consider: focus! it's not possible to focus (or zoom, really) while operating, even with servo handles. Operating itself takes a great deal of concentration. Therefore, for documentary applications like mine, operation takes some shooting error flexibility.
But I really like the unit, it's amazing how it works! The biggest two challenges for a new operator, in my opinion: keeping the horizon level around corners, and moving through doorways.
Also: the buckles on the vest are all made of plastic! This is very disappointing to me, as I am certain that they will break within the steadicam's lifetime.

Comments about Steadicam F24LEABNH Flyer24-LE Camera Stabilizer System:
Nice construction and very nice quality on the sled. The LE will take anywhere from an EX3 to a big Ikegami (without battery). I use this rig mainly at work for network promo creation. There is a bit of play where the buckles on the vest meet the center spar, so it results in some clicking noises on quite sets. Otherwise, what else can be said about Steadicam? They are the best at building stabilizers. Also, this is a learned skill, and not a magic device. Practice, Practice, Workshop...
