The AKG Perception 120 Cardioid Condenser Microphone is a low cost, efficient solution for recording vocals and instruments in home and project studios. The microphone's cardioid element provides a generous pickup area while minimizing off-axis noise and feedback from nearby monitors, instruments and other sources.
A low-frequency roll-off filter switch reduces hum, ambiance and other low-frequency noise. Also featured, is a 20dB Pad switch that maximizes headroom when capturing high volume sources such as percussion instruments, speaker cabinets, etc.

This thing is powerful. Clear sound, will record exactly what you put in. The downside is, it picks up everything, clearly. I have a lot of different mics, but I liked this one so well, for everything from vocals to instruments of any kind, that I bought another one. Can't beat the value.
