The Panasonic PT-F200NTU is a high-performance LCD projector designed for use in fixed installations. The projector combines Panasonic's original Auto Rolling Filter with an original lamp drive system to deliver crisp, bright images over extended periods of time and enables a 5,000-hour lamp replacement cycle.

The projector offers outstanding installation flexibility, with 2x zoom lens, lens shift and wireless/wired LAN functions that accommodate everything from permanent ceiling-mounted use to simple placement on a shelf. Whether you're looking to install a new system or considering a replacement, Panasonic answers the call for projectors that provide long-lasting brightness, simple maintenance, and easy, casual use even in fixed installations.

Daylight View 4 Technology
Daylight View 4 includes a built-in ambient light sensor that automatically detects room brightness and adjusts operation accordingly
Original Lamp Drive System for Optimal Lamp Performance
Lamps used in a projector require much higher precision than ordinary household lamps, Panasonic employs a number of technologies that help maintain optimal lamp performance for longer-lasting brightness
Wired LAN: Web Browser Control/Monitoring, E-Mail
Operate the PT-F200NTU by remote control or monitor its status over a LAN network, using the computer's familiar web browser. Furthermore, the projector sends an e-mail message to notify the operator when an error has occurred, or a lamp needs to be replaced.
PJLink Compatibility
The LAN terminals support PJLink class 1 connection. Control with the same specifications is also possible when used in a multi-projector system with projectors of another brand.
Direct Power Off
The cooling fan keeps operating until the lamp is cooled, you can turn off the room's main power without waiting for the projector to cool down
Wireless Projection from Multiple PCs
With the PT-F200NTU's wireless capability, you don't need cables to connect your computer

Comments about Panasonic PT-F200NTU LCD Multimedia Projector:

Pros: 3500 Lumens, bright enough to see from the doors to the sanctuary (~60') w/ all lights on and blinds raised. Huge improvement over previous projector. Email notifications, the ARF (Auto Rolling Filter) and the sealed cover over the lens make this nearly maintenance free. No more climbing a 20' ladder to check the filter! Wasn't sure how long the ARF would last, but it will "email a warning when it has 240 hours left". Network capabilities will greatly improve our options for connecting guest speaker's laptops.

Cons: VGA connection seems to be slightly soft (possibly need to increase resolution) Network connection (at 100mbs) is nice and sharp, works well for PowerPoint, but movies have a slight stutter. Haven't tested at Gigabit speeds yet. As with my home projector (PT-AE900U) the manual lens shift is a bit sticky. Understandable to keep it from drifting over time, but does take some work to get it exactly where you want it. Get it close, then use the software lens shift to get it precise.

One thing to note on the networking; I found one setup that I can't get working with the provided software. When you have a wireless connection from PC to Router, and wired connection from router to projector the software wants to disconnect from the router and create an Ad-Hoc connection (wireless) directly to the projector. This does work, but wasn't what I was hoping for.

Overall for the price point and features this is an excellent projector and I am very happy with my purchase. Thanks B&H!
