Every year or so I have to learn the expensive way. I look at the Brother cartridge and say it can't be worth the extra $$ vs. the "compatible" stuff. IT IS. Don't waste money on the generics -- Brother is visibly better quality, color, coverage # copies, etc.
The downside? It's expensive.
