Comments about AKG K 141 MK II Professional Semi-Open Supraaural Stereo Headphones:
Clear sound. I was anticipating that much when i was ordering this. Sound quality is great. You are getting this if you want clear sound with highs and mids and bass that is clear and strong while not being thumping (ie not covering the rest and sounding muddy). If someone wants a heavy thumping bass that can harm ears then no. This one is about clarity and "unpolluted" sound.
And because its 55 ohms it can be used on a PC or on a portable mp3 player with no issues. (Using it on my tiny Creative player with the volume set at medium).
Also comes with two different cords and two different sets of ear pads.
About the fitting...its supra aura design meaning that it doesn't cover the ears but instead presses on them.
So after a couple of hours of non stop listening you might feel tired, but you get used to it after a couple of days and their elastic bands will open up. The first day were a bit bothersome, but later on i found exactly where to place them.
Another thing that might bother some is that it doesn't have an inline volume controller but that isn't something bad as volume is easily controlled even on a PC as most keyboards have volume controls on them, or just use the volume meter from the OS or get a controller as an accessory.
Fantastic sound... Haven't regretted getting them.
4/5 only because of the combined negative of no inline volume control and potential ear strain.
