The first time i listend to a song with these i picked a song I knew i couldnt hear every instrument in. I was amazed without being any louder I was able to clearly make out every eliment of the music. By far a step up from the ordinary name brand headphones I had before this without breaking the bank.

I use these phones for home recording and home personal use. These are amazing for any amateur or beginning artist wanting to record or master their own tracks. The greatest thing about the headphones is their comfort and sound. I seldom notice that i am wearing them and the sound they produce is organic. These phones, however, have a flat sound so i would not recommended them for personal listen as they are missing that punch closed headphones offer.

I use this product with my M-Audio keyboard and the sound quality from them is pretty amazing.I can wear these for hours without any type of pain around my ears due to the extremely soft cushioning.

Maybe if they could reduce the size so they were not so bulky. Streamline the headset and keep the sound quality. It's a minor thing but would make them that much nicer for travel.

I gave the k99 4 stars instead of 5, partly my fault by not realizing what "semi-open" meant. If you want to use these headphones outside of your room on high volume, I suggest that you find yourself another pair of headphones. Sound comes off of the side of the headphones where the k99 logo is located, hence the "semi-open"... but other than that if you use it for indoor use and you're not disturbing anyone else around you I'd say these headphones are perfect!

Also, if you're wondering how you can adjust the headband... you don't. There's a elastic band inside the headband that self adjusts to the size of your head.

I use these in my home studio and they are the best sounding headphones I have ever heard. At a price that only B&H can bring you. I can't say enough about the sound quality. No downside whatsoever. Excellent!!!

Seriously any headphones you pay more than $30.00 for should sound good,and these certainly do. But i don't care how much they do (or don't) cost ,if you don't look forward to using them! These phones are both light on my head & very comfortable.They are excellent sounding, with a laid back sound with the music sort of coming out of nowhere(a good thing)with no perceptible distortion or color! The cord is long enough that you might not need a extension cable.You can listen to your music for hours without fatigue.If you haven't guessed by now ,i really love these headphones.Thanks akg & b&h.

I love these headphones . They're light in weight & sound outstanding, with a smooth - extended responce.I'm using these for both home stereo & mp3 player duty and thy shine no mater what i plug them in.They sit nicely on my head (unlike some other phones i've owned)and sound great on a varity of music with nice crisp highs and bass that is fast & tight.

I bought headphones to take a 14 hour plane ride back to home. I used panasonic noise cancelling before and thought this may be a good step up. Out of the box, I wasn't very impressed but once on my ear! Wow! definitely great soundstage reproduction. I can hear every single little instrument without distortion. Previous headphones I had would distort at loud volumes or with bassy music. Only con, is that it is crystal clear which makes you want to turn the volume higher, after a few hours my ears were ringing. So be careful using these, it may not sound loud(because theres no distortion) but it already is!
