I have used Microsoft keyboards and mice for years, so I expected this set to be just as easy to use and reliable as all the previous items they sold. Boy, was I wrong. The mouse paused constantly, causing missed clicks and general annoyance. The keyboard was worse: it would stop accepting keystrokes without warning, then continue on as if nothing happened, but anything I typed while it was "on break" never made it to the screen. I uninstalled, reinstalled, updated, and experimented. Nothing made any difference. Distance from keyboard to the wireless receiver was about 15 inches. Distance from the mouse to the wireless receiver was about 24 inches. I would have guessed it was the computer, but the Logitech set that replaced it has no problems at all, nor does the Microsoft wireless Mobile Mouse 4000. The Natural Ergonomic Keyboard Set 7000 just doesn't work properly.

I've used mutliple different Microsoft keyboard and mouse kits from wired to wireless and this one is just as good as any other. Good response and feel from both the keybaord and mouse, easy to use and very comfortable. Runs better with regular battetries than recharables, but your results might vary :).

This is the now the 3rd MS Natural keyboard and 2nd MS Natural Ergonomic mouse I've owned. Once you buy this, you'll be hooked. The palmrest has a very pleasant touch and is just as soft, spongy and satin-like after years of constant use. The keys have a soft, quiet, springy response. Mouse range is good enough to watch movies from several meters away. I use my computer mostly for word processing and graphics... which entails working in detail for hours-on-end. You too will no doubt find it exceptionally comfortable to type and accurate to mouse. The zoom button is great for quickly checking detailed pixels. Batteries last a long time since lights only light up when low ("Cap Lock" and "Num Lock" just pop up for a moment on your display whenever changed). The palm-lift that produces the reverse slope is a MUST. The older MS version (split keyboard but without the detatchable palm-lift) was wonderful enough but when the plastic turned color, I purchased the 7000 set in the summer of 2007. Loved it ever since until recently (May 2011) when my keyboard went haywire and began to suddenly zoom all on its own. I foolishly tried to take it apart myself, but ended up disabling the top row of buttons as well. Since I am definitely 'hooked', I repurchased. The only things Microsoft might improve would be to do a better job on the decals. The much used "C", "V" and "M" are almost completely indistinguishable after only 4 years. While the mouse is very comfortable for me, it might be a little big for those with smaller hands. But like I said, watch out because you will definitely get hooked despite the weaknesses. I should probably rate this as 4 stars because from above you can see that the product is not perfect, but again... I'm hooked!

It's getting harder to ergonomic wireless keyboards. This one has a good layout and a nice feel. The mouse is kind of strange. It's feels more like holding a baseball than a mouse. Also, the mouse has pretty short range. We had to move the usb transceiver up under the monitor using an extension cable before it would work but then it was fine.

This is an awesome product--it works great and is ergonomically good for you. It takes a little getting used to and then you are off to the races. I have shoulder/neck issues and I can tell this is helping already. On the technical side, this keyboard has great features like zoom and instant web and email keys--very easy to set up.

I have purchased two of these for folk in my department and am in the process of acquiring yet another. The keyboard is really nice and comfortable but the mouse is a perfect fit for a hand in its most natural position. I just keep waiting for MY current wireless keyboard/mouse combo to die so I can get one for myself. It seems to be durable as well but only time will really define that and we've not had any of them over a year yet.

It took me a very short time to switch from regular keyboard to the eronomic keyboard. It is also very comfortable on my wrist and hands.

I use the keyboard and mouse for my home office. It is very comforatable and responsive. I don't have issues with the mouse movement.

One minor thing that I will have to get used to is the #6 key is on the left hand and when I learned to type, I was taught to use the right pointer finger for both #6 and #7. So I have to retrain my finders...no big deal...of course, if you get an invoice from my and it says $70,000 as opposed to the agreed upon $60,000 well then obviously I still haven't retrained my fingers!

The Laser the mouse uses, gets stuck. I have similar product with Logitiech and the mouse fly's around, making it easier to move around.
