I love this camera, I only have one complaint and that is how easy it is to accidentally delete all of your videos. This has very sensitive buttons on the back and I have to be careful that I don't hit delete by accident. Otherwise, I love everything about it!

This camera is something else. It is no bigger than the average cell phone and is very light weight. It comes with a sleek velvet material case to protect it when you transport it to film your movie.

The screen on the back is a little smaller than I expected but I manged to deal with it because the quality is unlike any other video camera i have used. You are able to hit the power button and less than three seconds you are ready to film.

I have used it for about a week now and charged the battery once. That brings me to another point. The mino and the hd flip are the only two that can recharge. SPEND THE MONEY....get the mino. You will be throwing your money away if you get the ultra.

Another sweet thing is that no matter where you are you can "flip" the usb arm out and edit on any computer, your one click away from youtube or email, and you can also charge you battery. However, you cannot expand the memory on it. It holds 60 min though!!

This is a must get camera. The quality is great, portability, strength and look to it is also great.

Very cool! Compact (fits in your pocket without being heavy), turns on and shoots in an instant. Easy to figure out for those of us who didn't grow up with electronics toys. No need to read any instructions. Very clear picture automatically shows on your computer via USB port and e-mails very easily. Email receivers are given a site to click on rather than having to download. The only drawback for me is that the Flip viewing screen could have been made larger but that's minor. My research showed B&H had the best price. You'll enjoy the Flip Mino!!!

As an architectural filmmaker, the flip video camcorder may be one of the best pieces of equipment our company has purchased. The flip allows film ideas to be instantly shared with the architect while on site; and it allows us to test ideas with no post-production effort.

These are also cheap enough to buy several and loan to our clients for their use while on site. Being able to instantly view their ideas is an even greater value. ...and depending on the quality of the film, some of their footage can even be used for the final piece.

...and on the personal side; with my first child on the way, i am excited to always have a video camera easily accessible.

Gave this to our 17 year old teen who's has been making short video clips with her digital camera and piecing them together into longer films. The Flip is ideal because it can capture up to an hour's worth of film. The quality of the video and sound are okay -- the images are not as sharp as what she can get from a digital camera. The quality of the sound is about the same. Ability to zoom in is a nice feature. The size of the viewing screen on the back of the Flip is tiny compared to the ever-larger screens on digital cameras. Nevertheless, it is very convenient and easy to use. Didn't even need to read the manual before she started using the camera. She used it at Christmas to interview family members. It was unobtrusive, non-threatening and great fun for everyone. The soft bag that comes with the flip is a throwaway, however - basically a black velvet pouch with a drawstring on top. I found out afterwards that the Flip Mino can be ordered decorated with various designs. It's too bad you can't personalize the Flip after you've already bought it (with skins, etc). We haven't downloaded the editing software yet and need to check that out.

This easiy fits in my pocket and I can pull it out whenever I want and video the kids.
The battery life is pretty impressive. Video quality is good enough for my purposes.
The only thing that doesn't work as well as I'd like is the delete option. Often I want to delete a video and seem to be pressing the correct buttons for delete and in the end it says "not deleted."

This easy to use video camera is used by a team of people. Its size is that of a mobile phone so it can be carried in a pocket to quickly shoot video when the occasion arises. Although not movie quality on the big screen it is excellent for use in the classroom when viewed on a computer. Its ease of downloading means no lost cords in the shared environment. It is easy to charge - just plug it into a computer and easy to download once the software has been installed on your computer. A fantastic camera to bring others into the 21st Century

The flip mino has gotten me back into video after a 4 year hiatus. It doesn't do anything special, and that's the beauty of it. It is SO easy to use, and I keep it in my purse, ready at all times! LOVE it!

This is an amazing digicam. My son, a seven year old, loves making movies and this has yet been the best one for him. It's small, fast, and provides quality home videos. It has a sufficient enough memory for all those small events in life. The videos are crisp and clear. Best of all, it has its built-in software to create mixed movies, editing, easy uploads and still shots.

The Flip Mino is as easy to use as advertised both for shooting and uploading/emailing. The native video quality is slightly better than the average seen on you tube while the compressed version that uploads is slightly lower quality than average but still pretty good.

This certainly won't replace a high quality device (or event the video function of a recent digital still camera) but for "get it recorded and posted now" it can't be beat.

With the exception of the video codec the software runs directly from the camera which appears to your computer as a USB drive and doesn't add anything to your start menu.

Great to have for those quick moments and places you'd never normally take a camcorder. I keep my Mino with me at all times. Great in low light. The black model may show fingerprints, but the white model shows dirt. Don't overpay for it. There are good deals out there. Works seamlessly with my iMac.

Easy to use, easy to carry, easy everything. The one missing feature that is glaring is the ability to add a memory card to increase the length of the film beyond one hour.
