Hello,
I purchased two Mino Camcorders for business purposes. I work in the Corporate Communications Department of a well known insurance company. As such, we have many occasions where there is a need to record events, trainings, meetings, (etc.), both on-site & off. With all the other items we have to take/carry to these meetings it is extremely beneficial for us to have the compact style of the Mino Cam while traveling to & from these meetings. The Cam was easy to use, lots of fun, and in reviewing the videos, provided excellent quality.
If there is one small thing I'd change, it would be to balance the sound quality out more while recording. In playback, if anyone is too close in proximity of the Cam, their voices get picked up over the subject/speaker of the video.
Again, overall, I love the product & would definitely purchase it again.

We press the red button, and it records. The USB Flips out, downloads the videos and charges the unit. If you email others, keep the clips at 40 seconds or under as that equates to your email maximum of 25MB. Wish you could take a snapshot.
To get one, you have to download into the "FlipFile" and it will let you do it that way.

As a coach I use the Flip video to tape executives giving presentations. It is easy to record with and easy to playback. My clients can quickly view themselves on a TV monitor. I travel around the city with it and its small size and light weight make it effortless for me.
The only drawback is that the subject needs to be close to it to be heard clearly.

The Mino is small enough to carry anywhere with you, about the size of your slim cell phone. Mino makes video easy and the pictures are phenomenal. I can review the film frame by frame and choose which frame is the best picture and get a snapshot! I wanted Mino to video family and create my video library to store on "YouTube". When I video with Mino, people smile and that makes for great pictures!
The cost is reasonable and Mino is very sleek and stylish. I am getting much more video from Mino than I would from a camcorder because of the ease of use. The included software is easy and amazing. The only thing the customer needs is a PC with a USB port. What could be better???? Haven't tried it in low light - there is an accessory for that option but I don't need low light features.

I carry my Flip in my bag so I always have it with me. I always found traditional video cameras to be a pain to carry and to always have to make sure it is charged and load with a blank tape. Now I just aim and record.

We haven't had a camcorder for several years, but we have boxes and boxes of tapes that we cannot watch until we get them converted to DVD. Without a lot of $$ to spend, the Flip Mino proved to be the answer for us. It is simple to use and simple to load onto the computer - not possible with old camcorder!! The only thing that I wish were different is that the screen was bigger. The microphone picks up well, better than I expected.

I use the Mino to tape brief puppet shows to send my grandchildren, record them on those rare times we are together as we live on opposite coasts. I also did some videos of a balloon festival. The small size makes it very convenient to carry around, and quality is good.

This video cam has been great! It's easy to take video and to slice & dice it when you're done. It could not be easier since the software is in the camera so you can work on any computer, wherever you are. The only thing I wish it had was an option for speeding up or slowing down portions of the film, but that aside, it's a great camera. The size is equivalent to my blackberry pearl phone and just as easy to carry around with me.
