Comments about Domke F-10 JD Medium Shoulder Bag (Black):
This bag is great for events, street shooting, crowded places, anytime a low profile is required because this bag will not attract attention by its shape or size.
I saw a local PJ with one and realized it is the same size as my favorite cloth purse, which is just too flimsy to hold equipment. All my domke bags are too bulky for crowded events or photowalks or places where a big camera bag is inappropriate. This bag is just right. It holds my Nikon D200 with 18-200 attached, as well as 12-24 with one third still left for another lens or Lensbaby kit. The big pocket in front is as described and holds all the digital supplies I need for a day: no dividers or little pockets for batteries or cards, though. the top flap is fine for holding flat things like credit cards and $ but you would not want to put anything bulky in it. I can carry my D200 w/lens, a Nikon 80-200D as well as 12-24 and still be able to close the flap. Amazing! The bag is not weather or dust proof so I carry a garbage bag in the back pocket.
I am about 5'6" tall and this bag is a wonderful size for me. The pj I saw was over six feet tall and the bag was practically invisible on him. The bag is so easy to work out of, great looking, high quality and molds to fit your body instead of bouncing around like a cardboard box on a strap. Couldn't be more pleased. Thank you, Domke!
Not so great: If the velcro is too noisy, it's easy to put a strip of velcro on it. It seems to be about like other Domke bags: not industrial strength. Also not too crazy about the Domke name that is sewn across one side of the flap. easy to remove if it's bothersome to you. It's a very clean and simple design.

Comments about Domke F-10 JD Medium Shoulder Bag (Black):
I received this bag and the F-6 LITTLE BIT SMALLER BAG a few days ago. The F-6 is too much bag for me at 5'1" tall. But, the F-10 is just the right size: the main compartment holds my Canon 60D with 50MM and 18-200MM kit lens. The front pocket has room for my wallet, keys and a few camera accessories.
I have been using it with post-office shoulder pad and find it quite comfortable to carry, although have not had a chance to use it for more than a couple of hours a day yet.
I've covered half of the flap velcro as it's quite grippy and therefore noisy. I am considering replacing the metal hook closure with some sort of plastic two-piece pinch release buckle. Other than that, no complaints.

Comments about Domke F-10 JD Medium Shoulder Bag (Black):
I carry my 50d w/grip, nifty-fifty and a flash. It is a little tight but it works out great. The two pockets hold items such as an extra battery, memory cards, my wallet, ipod and other small items. Great bag, great quality - typical Domke bag.
This bag would be really really perfect if it had a side pocket on each side like some of the other bags, it would allow you to put a flash on the side and another small lens inside.
But I still love this bag.

Comments about Domke F-10 JD Medium Shoulder Bag (Black):
I intend to use the bag for travel with one camera body (D300), two lenses, and extra memory cards and battery. It slings across my body and is easy to fit slightly to the back. The bag can accommodate all I want, but I would like the bottom to be a little more "squarish". The rounding cuts out some room that I think would be helpful to better hold a couple filters and the container for the cards and battery along with the lenses.

Comments about Domke F-10 JD Medium Shoulder Bag (Black):
I've had this bag for about a month and I am quite pleased with it. I've taken the bag on city hikes and bicycle rides on trails and roads. The main compartment easily accommodates my Lumix GF1 with 17-45mm zoom attached, along with a second 45-140mm zoom lens - with more room to spare. I am sure the bag is large enough to accommodate an additional smaller lens or flash in the main compartment. The front pocket is spacious enough for a pancake lens, spare battery and/or a small flash. The zippered pocket on the underside of the main flap can hold some flat items, such as memory cards, filters, etc. My only complaint is the metal snap hook, which is a bit difficult to open. Since the main flap is also secured with a Velcro strap it may not be necessary to always engage the snap hook - unless you intend to carry the bag by the hand strap. I very much like the fact that the bag opens wide and I don't have to fish around in a dark narrow zippered compartment. Overall, the bag's design has just the right balance between number of compartments and accessibility. The canvas construction seems to be very sturdy and in my opinion the padding thickness is just about right. As an avid bicyclist I have taken the bag along on several bicycle rides. It neatly fits into my Ortlieb panniers. As other users have chosen to do, I too removed the red Domke label on the front of the bag.

i love this bag. i call it my "photo purse" because it holds all of my essentials and i carry it everywhere now that i'm not lugging some huge bag around. i think its slightly over priced. because the other colors were cheaper, but the black i feel is the best. either way i can hold my pentax k20 with the 16-50 2.8 attatched, my 10-17 fisheye my screw mount adapter my screw mount Asahi Super-Takumar 55 1.8 and the small flash in the front pocket i have my battery grip and a few other accesories, but it holds all of that nicely and yeah its great not very well padded if you throw your stuff around but you shouldn't do that with expensive gear.

Domke is the best camera bag maker, period. This is a great bag but its description reads like it is bigger than it actually is. It wont hold a pro sized DSLR.
