Comments about Samson MediaOne 3a 30W 3" Biamplified Active Studio Monitors (Pair):
I use these as my only computer speakers now. They do a surprisingly nice job for being so small and relatively light weight. That may be because the neodymium magnets do not have to be as large and heavy as traditional magnets to drive the speaker cone(s). Now I wonder what the 4" version of this product would sound like, but these will do.

I am using these monitors with a MAC laptop. They are great for general use and are really very good for music editing. They don't take up very much space and can do what I need done. I have even used it with a usb wind controller.

Comments about Samson MediaOne 3a 30W 3" Biamplified Active Studio Monitors (Pair):
I had been looking for a small pair of monitors to do mix downs on my studio projects and knowing the Zoom quality, I picked these over several others. I am quite pleased with the performance and the size is perfect for the small area that I have. When I had more room I had a set of Resolv 65's and loved them but I moved to smaller quarters and just don't have room for them. While these are no match for the bigger Resolv monitors they suffice for what I need at the present time.Of course they do not have the bass thump like the bigger ones but I really didn't expect them to have. For low volume mixing these little monitors fit the bill nicely. I am very pleased with them. They look really good too and I have already recommended them to others who are looking.

Comments about Samson MediaOne 3a 30W 3" Biamplified Active Studio Monitors (Pair):
The Monitors are being used as near field monitors for rough edits on a pc. Within their range (3" driver is a bit limited), they seem detailed and balanced. They have a surprisingly good range of inputs.

Comments about Samson MediaOne 3a 30W 3" Biamplified Active Studio Monitors (Pair):
After using many variations of portable sound for outdoor and indoor systems, these speakers delivered...BIG sound, well worth the price of admission. I have connected my MP3 player( Ipod)to many speaker systems and these are hands down the best at the power level of 30 watts.Nothing comes close. The built in amplifier powers both speakers without an external amp. I needed a system that was 30 w or less to run off a portable battery pack system (camping battery) . I use it for trade shows and outdoor events. They are loud , have a lot of punch and last all day on one battery ( A 12 volt car battery/ air compressor/ jumper cable/ inverter to 120 v ac pack) These would give a person a loud, very solid stereo sound for college or home studio without all the extra amps and tuner boxes.
