The case is sleek, secure and very protective. It's a pain to get the Edirol in and out of it, which is annoying because that's what you have to do to transfer files to your computer or adjust any settings on the back of the unit. The tripod is not very sturdy and difficult to set up quickly. The case is the only way to get the Edirol mounted with the microphone stand adapter.

The case certainly does not fit like a glove. I would describe the fit like socks that are supposed to "fit" 5 different size feet.
The case provides only minimal padding or insulation and completely hides the compartment on the bottom of the recorder, so it must be removed to connect to a computer or change the flash card.
The tripod can't be used without the case.
Overall the set is serviceable but overpriced by about $15.

works great. I bought it more for the cover (which will mount on a real tripod), but the mini tripod isn't too bad.

I bought this because I needed to attach my Edirol R-09H to a microphone stand and the only way to do with was to but this combo. I did not need the tripod but the cover. This cover is well constructed and fits the Edirol like a glove and the functions are available. It also looks very nice. I would highly recommend this product for purchase.

I bought this for the Edirol recorder-- it fits fine and works as advertised. The stand is a bit flimsy though, and I would be hesitant to leave the recorder on this in any windy places. The cover seems fine.

This is a great tool and badly needed. I put the edirol in the case on this tiny little stand and place it in front of our band (2 guitars, bass and vocalist) and it's a much needed set up and I'm glad I bought it. But the issues I have with it is the price and the size of the stand. It has a nice case for the Edirol, but the stand is very small, maybe 4-5 inches. So, all of that for [$] I kept mine because I needed to give the Edirol something to hold it up, otherwise it's laying on the floor or a table top. At least this way it's got support.I wish there was some way to put the edirol on a mic boom or something, now that would be really good.If you're using this for voice recording, then this is a great little product.
