The Creative Vado Pocket Video Camera (Silver) will make you the envy of all your friends! This modern and sleek camcorder fits right in your pocket or bag and is thinner than a deck of cards - bring it anywhere you go to record on-the-fly moments or to capture family events. With a VGA CMOS sensor and 640 x 480 resolution your video will be clean and bright every time you shoot. The internal flash memory offers 2GB of recording space that can hold up to 2 hours of video. And, the Vado is easy to use; just point and shoot, it's that simple.
When you're ready to share your video with friends and family the built-in flexi USB connector pops out from the side of the camera and connects right to your computer. The built-in software makes it hassle free to upload and share your footage on sites such as YouTube or Photobucket. In addition, the TV output allows you to connect the camcorder to your television (A/V cable sold separately) to share your memories on a big screen.

This was actually a Christmas gift for my parents, but I chose it because I own a similar Vado (HD version) and love it.
I thought they could use a dead-simple, easy-to-operate video camera that can just as simply upload to a computer. The onboard software was the clincher - there isn't a separate installation disk with software that must be installed on every computer with which you use the camera. Instead, when you unfold the USB from the back of the Vado, you can plug it into the USB port of any computer and modify the video (edit, add effects, etc.) instantly. I didn't find this to be necessarily true of the competing Flip camera.
For what it is, I love this video camera. It's been durable for me, and I've experienced battery life that is true to the description Creative gives. True, you will find you can't zoom very much at all and you're videos will often be shaky (unless you have a steadier hand than me). The sound doesn't match the video quality either. But it's an excellent little camera to slip into your pocket so you can capture the moments in life that you can take back and save forever. It's perfect for that. I really do highly recommend it.

Super easy to operate, and does a good job in terms of getting basic quality video for youtube etc. Don't expect high quality video you could play full screen, but for quick online clips shot in concerts, trips or parties - this is perfect!
