The Kata DH-423 Digital Holster is designed to carry and protect a digital SLR camera with a lens attached and accessories. The case is made of a reinforced Nycore grid fabric that protects the exterior of the case. It uses a TST (Thermo Shield Technology) rib material to provide protection against shock, vibration and impact. There is a Yelloop soft material interior that will not scratch the camera and the bright yellow color makes it easy to find accessories. The case has EVA + PE closed cell foam interior padding.
The Kata DH-423 has a pouch inside that can store spare media cards and/or batteries. It has an elements cover that fits around the case and protects the equipment from rain and dust. It is carried by a padded handle and a removable, adjustable, shoulder strap.

Comments about Kata DH-423 Digital Holster:
Somewhat tight fit for my Canon t2i and Sigma 18-250. Worked fine for my trip to India. Just wished it had one side pocket for an extra battery and accessories.

Comments about Kata DH-423 Digital Holster:
Does it's job but don't expect to put much in it. Has space for my D5000 w/18-55mm lens and the included memory card organizer weather cover, but that's about it.
Holster is very convenient though. Strap it on or over your shoulder all it takes is a little tug and your camera will be at your hip. A slight unzip and your camera is at your fingertips.
One time, though, the weight of the camera somehow turned the bag upside down and my camera fell to the ground. Haven't had this happen before or since, but was worth mentioning.
Very well made and would buy a Kata bag again, but in a bigger size. Will have to eventually anyway to accommodate a larger lens. But great for walking around if you won't need any additional gear.
