The Kata DH-425 Digital Holster is designed to carry and protect a digital SLR camera with a short zoom lens attached and accessories. The case is made of a reinforced Nycore grid fabric that protects the exterior of the case. It uses a TST (Thermo Shield Technology) rib material to provide protection against shock, vibration and impact. There is a Yelloop soft material interior that will not scratch the camera and the bright yellow color makes it easy to find accessories. The case has EVA + PE closed cell foam interior padding.
The Kata DH-425 has a pouch inside that can store spare media cards and/or batteries. It has an elements cover that fits around the case and protects the equipment from rain and dust. It is carried by a padded handle and a removable, adjustable, shoulder strap.

Comments about Kata DH-425 Digital Holster:
Already owning the Kata 3N1-20, I needed something smaller for a quick grab-n-go. The holster is well padded and my D300 seems to be well supported and protected, even with my mid-length lenses. The bag is very lightweight and the shoulder strap is really comfortable. The camera is easily accessible for a quick draw when I need it. The only drawback is the bicycle-seat shape. I prefer to carry something that is not so obviously a camera bag. Would love to see Kata come out with a bag line for the ladies :) I love this bag and would definitely recommend it.

Comments about Kata DH-425 Digital Holster:
I wanted a case that would fit my Nikon D7000 with a 70-300 zoom lens. This does it just perfect. There's just enough room for the strap and a pouch for some memory cards. I have the Kata 3 in 1 bag which is our main bag that carries everything else, but sometimes you want something small. This is a great bag for JUST the camera, with the bigger zoom lens on there is no room for the water proof bag that comes with it. No prob. For me, I don't take my camera out in rain and if so just put the little bag in your pocket. The camera feels well protected and the workmanship is awesome as usually with Kata, the hand strap feels great and it also come's with a shoulder strap.

Comments about Kata DH-425 Digital Holster:
This case is a prefect fit for my Nikon D300 and 18-200mm lens with lens shade attached. There is even room for the Nikon supplied with camera strap and it all zips-up. I would like a quick latch for fast closing with no need to zipper up so often. I would not trust flash card holder supplied on Velcro inside of case. I'm going to put strip of Velcro on bottom inside of case. No place to put "rain cover" in case with my setup.
