The Numark NS7 Motorized DJ Software Controller is an intuitive all-in-one workstation and USB interface for use with Serrato ITCH DJ software (included). Numark's attention to detail makes the NS7 a viable solution for laptop DJs who crave the the look and feel of traditional vinyl DJ rigs; without the bulk and hassle of separate components, arduous setup, etc.
A traditional 2-channel DJ mixer with replaceable VCA crossfader and level faders also serves as the USB interface. There are balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA phono analog output connections, and an RCA (L/R) input for connecting line-devices such as drum machines, MP3 players, etc.
Two direct-drive motorized platters surround the mixer (like any traditional DJ setup), and feature 7" vinyl on top of actual slipmats for an authentic analog turntable feel. The motor's torque may be adjusted to reflect modern or traditional turntable feel, and of course the platters are sensitive for scratching, back-cuing, etc.
Each deck also features Numark's Strip-Search touch strip for accurate, turntablist-style needle-dropping. All this in a package that also includes Serrato ITCH DJ software for the Mac and Windows OS; simply add the laptop and you'll be playing your set in no time.

I've had my NS7 for about four months now.At first I was discouraged because I was suffering from too many performance issues.However it wasn't the controller it was my PC.My laptop did not have a fast enough processor to allow for peak performance.So I had to purchased another laptop which solved all of problems.This is a great and fun machine.My biggest suggestion is to check the specs on the laptop you have and if it's not in complience of what's needed to run your NS7...get a MAC.I love my new NS7 and my MAC and it's all I have time for when I'm free.It's an addiction ...Uhh...sorry gotta go I hear a mix in my head and I wanna try on my NS7...You can't use mine either...get your own!!!

I dj'd for 15 years on vinyl and after a 10 years layoff I decided to switch to the new technology. I bought the NS7 because it was heavily & positively reviewed. When I finally got my hands on it it lived up to the hype and then some! First of all I was up and running in just over 15 minutes. The bundled software, Serato Itch, was easy to figure out and immediately began makes playlists/crates. The feel is just like vinyl on Technique 1200's...no latency is mixing or scratching. You get the total package at a great price. And on the flip side, there's really nothing bad about it. I would totally recommend this controller to a beginner or expert.
