I purchased this as a replacement for the one that came with the light which I broke during a shoot. the light is pretty sturdy and was not damaged but the hot shoe adapter broke when it fell about 1 ft. Paying 20 percent the value of the light to replace a small piece of plastic is painful so remember to "handle with care."
