Comments about Litepanels LP MACA AC Power Adapter:
I guess this is the only way to get AC power to the Litepanel, so it is a necessary backup. I won't use many of the great variety of plugs that come with it. Once you install the correct plug you are set, probably for life. Seems a little more complicated than necessary. I suspect it is not all that rugged. We will see.

Comments about Litepanels LP MACA AC Power Adapter:
Be forewarned. Despite the two comments by "HD DSLR videomaker" and "J.F.", this adapter will NOT connect to the Lite-Panels MicroPro LED light. It is made to connect to the "Micro" light, not the "Micro Pro" light.

Comments about Litepanels LP MACA AC Power Adapter:
I have used the Litepanel hybrid mostly for still photos for on-line auctions. I shoot mostly fully manual with a DSLR, and I have problems getting enough light to set up the focus. The LP Hybrid is perfect for that, and the Litepanels AC adapter allows me to take as long as I need without worry about my batteries running out.

Comments about Litepanels LP MACA AC Power Adapter:
The Litepanel Micropro LED uses six batteries and dims noticeably as the batteries get used. The AC power adapter avoids that dimming when using the Micropro as a stationary light source. It should have been included in the Micropro kit.

Comments about Litepanels LP MACA AC Power Adapter:
This works very well with my MICROPRO litepanel, and I would recommend getting one since the litepanel drains batteries quickly. The variety of plug attachments are great for travel.
