This Simultalk 24G Communication System from Eartec provides full-duplex digital wireless communication in a compact design. The system includes 2 Simultalk 24G beltpacks and 2 Cyber headsets.
The Simultalk 24G beltpack is compact, lightweight, and easy-to-use, requiring no base station for operation, thanks to standard 2.4GHz technology. It features a built-in volume control, and a talk/standby switch. The molded belt clip keeps the unit securely fastened to your clothes. No FCC license or any other license is needed for operation, and it is CE certified for use in Europe, Australia, and the UK.
The Cyber headset is an ultra-lightweight single ear headset designed for industries where headsets are worn for an entire shift. Ideal for food service, health care, and more, the Cyber weighs only half an ounce. The slender tension band slips discreetly behind the neck, and the adjustable gooseneck allows a wearer to position the microphone with precision. The single-sided cable helps to minimize snags and tangles for comfortable all-day wearing.

System was loud enough for moderate ambient noise level. Their better headsets are grossly overpriced!

Purchased these to use as communicators while docking our boat (one of the uses that is advertised on their site because of the duplex mode).
Worked fine, but the headsets never fit correctly and they didn't seal well with our ears.
Returned and got a set with full-cup headsets which worked much better.

Headset works great! Clear person to person quality. My company are going to use these for our theatre production coming up and they are already working well for the rehearsal. Should be great for the opening night.

I use them to teach my students for horse back riding.
They are wonderful because students can hear me even they are far away and they can hear me clearly!
They arrived so quick to arrived, too!

I bought a pair of these for my wife and I to use while docking our boat. They work as advertised and have ended the shouting that we use to use when docking and our blood pressure is much lower now. The only issue that I have is that the headsets provided are not adjustable and won't fit over the ear, thereby making it hard to hear if there is any loud outside noises. I need to find a better pair of headsets as these will not work for us.

[...]Works well, but head sets are the real short coming. Had a hard time getting them to fit properly. Still unconfortable but functional.

My 38 ft sailboat has equipment on the bow that makes it difficult to see its relative position when approaching a mooring or a slip. The duplex system enables crew on the bow to give me explicit information to guide me to an easy mooring or docking. They do not have to turn and face aft to talk to me. Moreover, it is presents a quiet and more seaman-like communication with the crew rather than yelling. The wireless feature permits the skipper the flexibility to move around to either of two helm positions and even walk up to the bow when needed.

I use the radios successfully in a high noise environment that has defeated radios costing many times the price of the Simultalk.

You've probably heard it before but we'll repeat it anyway. For the boating couple, these headsets are a genuine blessing. The value of bring able to use a conversational tone of voice instead of shouting instructions from the helm is, well, priceless. A great enhancement to our mutual enjoyment of cruising, whether docking, undocking, anchoring, or resetting the anchor in the midst of a nasty thunderstorm. Can think of no cons whatsoever.

These units are great! We use them even in the house or car when talking over other noise is difficult or impractical. Great for hiking or kayaking. Especially nice that simultaneous talking is easy. No "walkie-talkie" feel or sound delay. Wish they had a "charging complete" indicator but that's the only improvement necessary. A lithium ion battery might be a useful future feature too but 4 hours of talk-time is generally sufficient.

The Eartec Cyber Headsets worked very well. They're a little awkward when using more than 2 users but overall I was very pleased with the unit.

My wife and I have always had a problem carrying on a conversation while driving our two-seated sports car with the top down. At interstate speeds the wind noise kept us from communicating, but now that we have the Simultalk 24G Beltpack w/ Cyber Headsets we can carry on a normal conversation and hear each other perfectly. Problem Solved!!!
