This Simultalk 24G Communication System from Eartec provides full-duplex digital wireless communication in a compact design. The system includes 4 Simultalk 24G beltpacks and 4 ProLine Single headsets.
The Simultalk 24G beltpack is compact, lightweight, and easy-to-use, requiring no base station for operation, thanks to standard 2.4GHz technology. It features a built-in volume control, and a talk/standby switch. The molded belt clip keeps the unit securely fastened to your clothes. No FCC license or any other license is needed for operation, and it is CE certified for use in Europe, Australia, and the UK.
The ProLine Single headset is a comfortable and durable mid-weight headset with deluxe padding, and a thick adjustable headband. The flexible steel gooseneck provides precise mic positioning.

I feel that we might have misjudged the distance these can travel. The person who did the specs for me said that they are supposed to have a range of 300 feet, but they weren't sufficient for the 60 feet we had to cover and there were no walls or obstructions between headsets. [...]. Out stagemanager, light booth and sound tech could not hear each other.

Bought this hoping we could use these for in-studio communication and maybe for some on-location shooting. Turns out they don't work even in a small 40'x40' studio. Pure static even at 10' if the guy on the left has his transmitter on his left hip and the guy on the right has his on his right hip. Having to go through 2 bodies is far too much for these headsets.Also you cannot communicate to all 4 at the same time from any particular receiver/transmitter. Only the master can do that. The master can talk and hear all 4 sets, but the other three can only communicate with the master. Stupid.They had great potential. The headsets feel very nice. If they worked, that would be excellent. Now I'm looking for a replacement.Also the cosmetics are terrible. They look like something you could buy at [...] and not something in the hundreds of dollars. Yes, it's just cosmetic, but these aren't cheap, so why the big [...] stickers and such on them?My $0.02.

In my opinion, this is one of those "you get what you pay for" products. The audio quality was decent, but we kept getting a bunch of interference. Whenever the master radio wasn't in talk mode, there was constant interference noise in the other people's ears. Also, the radios don't get very loud, so you may not want to use them for a loud event.
Bottom line: If you need a clearcom, and renting a good one isn't practical, and paying for a more expensive one is outside your budget, then this might be the product for you. Just don't get your hopes too high.
