Taking the sought after functionality of the red dot sight a few steps higher, the 1x30 StrikeFire Red Dot AR15 Riflescope delivers a powerful feature set at a competitive price point.
Providing the operator with unlimited eye-relief and the ability to employ a heads-up-both-eyes-open sighting technique, this StrikeFire is an excellent choice for handguns, tactical rifles, scout rifles, and shotguns.
The construction of the StrikeFire sight is robust, yet it sports a sleek profile. It was designed for rugged field use; it is shock, water, and fog proof.
This StrikeFire scope comes with an extra-high 30mm mounting ring for use with AR15 platform firearms.
A mounting base and rings are used to attach a riflescope to a firearm. A comfortable sight picture is contingent upon the height of the rings. A comfortable cheek-weld is the result of properly positioning the scope over the receiver. Mounting the scope close to the receiver is preferable, yet scopes with larger objectives need higher rings so the front bell can clear the barrel. It should be noted that in many mounting applications, a professional gunsmith's skills will be needed for proper installation.

- Illuminated Red/Green Dot Reticle
- A variable intensity (10 brightness settings) 4 MOA dot floats in the center of your field of view, indicating your exact point of aim. The color of the dot can be switched from red to green to maximize its effectiveness against ambient lighting conditions and backgrounds.

I recently purchased a new rifle for use on duty (I'm a Police Officer). I started looking at reflex sights & saw a video review on Youtube (nutnfancy) on the Vortex Strikefire. After more research I came to the conclusion that the Vortex Strikefire inexpensive, not cheap. I ordered & installed it (pretty simple). After I zeroed it I qualified with my new rifle. Awesome!

If you're looking for a good, cheap, tactical scope, this one might be for you. It's a lot of fun and also does the trick for shooting up to 100 yrds or so. I have several high-end scopes as well ... but I got this one for my AR-AK74 and it works great. That said, if you're looking for a high-end scope go ahead and spend the $1K+ you'll need to get your bottom-line. Otherwise, buy this one for what it is and have some fun shooting with your friends!

Sighted in very easy. accurate from 25-50 yrds (I am not that good of a shot). can use with both eyes open. My brother liked the red dot as well (He is a better shot). 25 dollar gift card was great. [...]Talked to a very nice guy in NYC on the phone. Not giving 5 stars b/c I guess it isn't something you would use in combat unlike EOtech and AIMpoint. for the money, it's pretty great. If you buy one of these, you undoubtedly know about the Swedish made Aimpoint. This is a clone of the Aimpoint. They did a fair deal on making this one close. But rest assured that it is no Aimpoint. If you buy an Aimpoint, your money will be well spent. If you buy a Vortex Strike fire, your money will also be well spent. It all depends on you.
There are a couple of negatives. First of all, the doubler that comes with the Strikefire should go straight in the trash. It is totally worthless for anything.JUNK! Second, the on-off switch is a pain, as it is positioned where it inadvertantly comes on continuously.

I mounted this site on my M&P-15 and couldn't be happier so far. It took about 4 rounds to site it in, which is the quickest site-in I've ever had with any scope or other optic. Once set, it has held zero perfectly and I can take on 20oz soda bottles at 100 yards all day long, especially with the 2x magnifier included. I used iron sites before this, and I will say that this little optic has made my AR a completely different rifle, very fast to get on target, easy to keep both eyes open and rapid fire hits are incredibly easy. I HIGHLY recommend this to anybody looking for an affordable but high quality red-dot site.

Easily mounted the scope on a Sig 556. At 100 yards I could keep all rounds in a 4 in circle shooting Federal 55 gr. The 2X magnifier works very well. The controls are good and it doesn't weigh that much. I will use it for 3 gun competition. Not sure how well it will hold up to being knocked around in competition, so far I'm impressed.
