SureFire flashlights are known around the world as the go-to lighting system for any and every tactical scenario. In 1969, their original product line consisted of laser sighting systems for firearms. After many years of intense research and development, the SureFire WeaponLight was born and low light law enforcement & military operations changed forever. SureFire then went on to establish themselves as the leading manufacturer of rugged, powerful and compact illumination tools for tactical applications; from weapon-mounted lights and laser sights, shield lights, baton lights & hand-held lights powerful and bright enough to qualify as force-multiplier tools that could temporarily blind, unbalance, and disorient a threat.
The SureFire E2D LED Executive Defender is an extremely compact & high-intensity tactical-level flashlight with enhanced self-defense features. This pocket-sized powerhouse LED flashlight is an enhanced version of the SureFire E2E flashlight with a crenellated strike bezel for personal protection, and an electronically controlled LED module for long lasting service.
The E2D LED produces a smooth, brilliant, prefocused tactical-level beam that's bright enough to temporarily blind and disorient a person by impairing their night-adapted vision. Its small size and high output levels make it a perfect choice for an everyday carry light.

Comments about SureFire E2D LED Executive Defender Flashlight:
I bought this to have for my car in case of emergencies. It puts out a very bright light for its size. It also seems very well constructed and should last indefinitely. It is also designed to have a use in the case of self defense, but I certainly hope I never need to see that side of its usefulness. All in all, the flashlight is very nice.

This is one quality product that delivers as advertised... A little pricy but, basically, you get what you pay for. The product description tells you what you need to know.

Comments about SureFire E2D LED Executive Defender Flashlight:
This purchase is a replacement for a lost E2D. I bought an E2D maybe a couple years ago and found it to be the best flashlight I ever owned. It is light enough for EDC, and with two brightness settings, I find I use it just about everyday at work. Battery life is surprisingly long. When I bought this light originally, I had a hard time justifying ~ $. When I lost it, I dropped the money down without even thinking about it twice.

Comments about SureFire E2D LED Executive Defender Flashlight:
This light is awesome. I recently purchased an O-light 500 lumen light because I wanted the strobe feature. 200 lumens from this light was about the same as the 500 lumen O-Light and is also smaller. Surefire is more money but you do get what you pay for.

Comments about SureFire E2D LED Executive Defender Flashlight:
This little flashlight is truly an engineering marvel. The fit and finish are excellent, the pocket clip is very strong and useful and the light itself is amazingly bright. If you want the power of a huge 4 cell in a compact package, the E2D LED is for you. Surefire seems to market this light as some sort of self defense tool, which I highly discourage, but it does have some interesting serrated edges that would certainly hurt if used in a physical manner. I also love the fact that this flashlight is made in the USA. It's not easy to come across products made in America anymore and that's really sad. If this flashlight is any indication of the quality of products our countrymen can produce it makes me very proud. I feel patriotic every time I use it.

This flashlight produces a well focused beam of light in a very durable package. Not only is the two light level function handy, it makes the transition between working indoors or outdoors that much easier.

Great for an all around flashlight that can and should be your backup for defense if needed. Built like a german tank and all business. Surefire's rep for quality is validated. A strobe mode might be useful. B and H service rocks.

This is a great light. I have the original 5/125 lumen E2D LED Defender and bought this one to have as my girlfriend loved mine and wanted one too. I use it hunting and for going outside to let me shorthair run and this beauty lights everything up. Hope I will never have to strike someone with it, but if I do, this thing will leave a mark! Great product from Surefire!

Maybe I should be a surefire rep . Since discovering these things I've bought over 10 . Sold sum , kept sum , gifted sum. EVERYBODY is amazed at the output on these things . You will embaress anybody that has a maglight or anything thing else . I find myself totally illuminating the neighbors house just for kicks . Feel much more confident with this in hand . The blinding light with sharp edges is a combo I wouldn't want to be on the wrong end of . I'm writing a review not a book so ill keep it short . Get it .

What convenience! Equals my M3 and surpasses other Surefire products I own. I know I could have used this kind of power in a total subway blackout--like I experienced some years ago. That means I have to carry it daily. No problem there as it loops neatly on my belt and out of sight.

Comments about SureFire E2D LED Executive Defender Flashlight:
I love this flashlight for its features (hi/lo output, crenelated bezel and useful size/profile). The only drawback is the clip for pocket carry. It leaves the bulb end of the flashlight too far out of the pocket for what I consider to be concealed and makes it too easy to scratch anything you get too close to (i.e. cars, walls, etc.). I got around that by using a Ka-Bar f/l holster which allows vertical and horizontal belt carry. Note... I have also broken the clip using pocket carry but Surefire's excellent customer service has already replaced it at no charge.

I bought this for the size, strike bezel, and power. I was very hesitant about spending so much on a flashlight, but you really do get what you pay for with this. I can't say enough about how good it is. The high setting is incredibly bright (it would easily temporarily blind an intruder) and even the low beam is brighter than your average flashlight. The beam is perfectly focused and the light is white, not bluish as with some LEDs. The compact size makes it easily concealable and good for all situations. This thing will last for a long time so that helps make the cost more reasonable. I would recommend this to anyone. Bravo Surefire.

I work approx 14 miles from the US/Mex border near endless fence lines and constant illegal traffic (illegal aliens, drug smugglers, etc.). After using this light the first time, I have formally recommended that all personnel have this model due to its awesome illumination, compact design as well as it's durability. With so many eyes on us daily and nightly, we now have a tool that puts the "SpotLight" on them at night.

Comments about SureFire E2D LED Executive Defender Flashlight:
This little flashlight is so bright that if you shine it in someones eyes they will be blinded and disoriented for awhile. I almost bought this same model at one of the stores where it was available locally. I ordered from B&H instead and saved over $40, [...] and when the flashlight arrived it came with extra batteries. One of the local stores told me that new batteries were $30. This is an awesome flashlight, it was a great deal [...]
