The BFD Big Orchestral Marching Band (B.O.M.B.) from FXpansion is an expansion pack for BFD software that offers an extensive suite of detailed percussion instruments and Grooves to complement the main BFD installation. The collection features orchestral and marching drum instruments, fully multi-sampled and in multi-articulated form.
The instruments were recorded with up to fifty velocity layers using multiple microphone channels. Carefully-selected high-end microphones, preamps and converters were used for the sessions, faithfully capturing the musicality and expressive depth of this eclectic percussion collection. The library also includes a suite of Grooves allowing the user to inject classic hip-hop street beats, drum-corps and marching performances into their music.

- Set of four timpani covering 1.5 octaves, each pitch recorded with felt and wood mallets
