I bought this bag for recent day trips. I was able to fit my T2i with 15-85 lens attached (hood reversed) in the center section with a kit lens and 35mm lens (stacked) on one side and filters and a slim wallet on the other side. The available pockets on the front, rear, and top of the bag were used for manuals, tissues, and cleaning supplies. One of the outside side pockets held a water bottle. It was a bit of squeeze to remove the camera so I found it better to carry the camera separately when touring rather than take the chance of missing a shot. Though I wished the bag had a little more space given the contents it already was somewhat bulky to carry around so I don't think I would upgrade to a larger size for day trips where one is constantly on the move. I would recommend this bag for those times when only limited equipment is required.

Easily holds my Canon 7D, 28-135 lens, 11-16 lens, flash, charger, accessories, and still has a little room. The all weather cover is great for being in heavier rain/snow.

Comments about Lowepro Nova 170 AW Shoulder Bag (Black):
I use this bag to carry a smallish camera body, four lenses, and a bunch of accessories. Two of the lenses are large zooms (14-140mm and 100-300mm) and the other two are large aperture primes (20mm and 45mm). Everything fits comfortably in the bag and is well protected by it. The bag is comfortable on my shoulder when fully loaded and everything in the bag is readily accessible in the field.

Comments about Lowepro Nova 170 AW Shoulder Bag (Black):
I bought this bag so I could assemble a small kit to cover most situations where photographic opportunities might arise. It perfectly fits my D700, 28-300mm, 50mm, SB-800 flash, and room for a few extra batteries and memory cards. The bag is very well built and padded. The rain cover is nice, but not something I would completely trust if I was caught outside in a storm.

Comments about Lowepro Nova 170 AW Shoulder Bag (Black):
I just got the bag a couple weeks ago but so far it has been great! The zippers are wicked smooth and the rain cover is such a great idea. I am kind of a pocket freak so the one downfall to this bag is that all the pockets are pretty thin so the interior pocket doesn't really hold a battery very comfortably but I mean get a bigger bag if you want to carry a lot more bulk around. Right now I carry my T2i, lens caps, remote, battery charger, extra battery and manual around along with all the cables that came with the camera and it fits pretty well and I plan on getting a 55- 250 mm lens soon and I feel like it will fit pretty well with the adjustable interior divider. Thanks Lowe Pro truly the best camera bag company out there!

The bag is good only for holding 1 camera. It is a stretch to put more stuff (lenses). I returned it today for store credit and bought Lowepro Novo 200AW

I bought this bag for my over flow of equipment because my Lowepro back back can not hold everything I own. This bag will also work great for a quick shot where I would need just my camera with battery grip and one or two lens.I am impressed with quality and price of both Lowepro bags I purchased from B&H.

Bought as an upgrade to my Lowepro Rezo 140 bag, so that I can easily carry my 580EX II flash along with my camera. Prefer how this looks over the Rezo too.
Well padded, sturdy, and the all weather cover make it a great buy. Holds a 7D with an 18-200 lens and flash easily, with some room to spare.

Comments about Lowepro Nova 170 AW Shoulder Bag (Black):
I just bought this bag for my Canon 7D SLR camera. I have a Tamron 28-300 mm. lens attached to it. I can easily drop the camera (lens first) into the main compartment, and it has enough room to comfortably fit the thick camera sling on top. In the other compartments inside I have a battery recharger (with spare battery attached) and a Canon 50 mm. fixed lens. There is still enough room to put a flash unit and other items in the interior side compartments. The bag has lots of little pockets for a cleaning kit, CF cards, notepad and pen, my remote control, etc. A big plus is it's fold-out gray rain cover, that still allows you access into the bag. Another great feature is it has a buckle if you want to just close the bag quickly between shots, and, a zipper so you can really seal it from the weather elements. This bag is a great design. The construction is tough and has durable stitching. The bag is deep and fairly narrow, so you can sling it over your shoulder and keep it tucked under your arm in crowds, to protect it. I can also put it in my Eagle Creek Switchback 22 backpack (with a water bladder attached)so I can take it on hikes and not have to carry the bag separately. I highly recommend this bag.

After searching around for bags I picked this. Great bag for my 550D plus an extra lens or two. Ample pockets, easy to get stuff in and out, nice strap, pockets for water bottles on the side, and an excellent rain fly that comes out from below and behind the very front pocket. Certainly comes in handy but don't keep anything in the side pockets unless the rain fly adequately covers the top. 5 stars, nothing wrong with it at all.

It has an ideal size. It is easy to carry, practice to open and close and very discreet. I use at work and leisure. Things that are great are also pockets and a rain jacket hidden under the zipper down. Just open, remove the cover and cover the bag.

This lowepro shoulder bag is good for protecting and storing your camera gears. The useful pockets can fit many things and the all-weather cover makes sure your bag and gears stay dry. However, this bag is a bit bulky kind of like a lunch bag! It stores the camera body + 2 lenses + flash and more.
