I use this bag to carry a Nikon D300 attached to a Sigma 18-200, Nikon 70-300 zoom, Nikon flash, Nikon D80 attached to a 50mm lens. I have tried many bags from Slingshot to fastpack that do not work for me. Slingshot would kill your right shoulder and you can not switch, with a shoulder bag at least you can switch shoulder when one side gets tired. Fastpack does not work because you can only fit one body attached. and alot of unusable unpadded space.

This is a very sturdy, well-cushioned bag. The built in rain cover is one of the main reasons I bought it. the bag comes with plenty of customizable dividers. However, you really don't get much of a choice of how to put your camera into it, it pretty much has to sit in there like a toploader bag, which makes it difficult to get the camera in and out. the bag is almost too narrow for a 5d, bigger pro-bodied cameras might not fit so well inside. I would check this bag out in person before you buy it to make sure it will work well for you

Comments about Lowepro Nova 190 AW Shoulder Bag (Black):
The bag is made very well, which I had no doubt it would. It can carry my 7D with battery pack and 24-70 lens attached along with 2 other smaller lenses without an issue. It can be configured anyway you would like.
The only issue on configuring that was a little difficult was putting the body in with the 24-70. I had to steal some other padding pieces out of another bag so the camera would sit flat and not tilt down on the lens while in the bag. This is the only reason I gave it 4 stars. Besides that I love it.
The shoulder strap long enough to go over your shoulder and hang across your body very comfortably.
It is definately nice for those short trips and you do not want to carry your big bag.

Comments about Lowepro Nova 190 AW Shoulder Bag (Black):
I bought this bag to take to Florida since my old bag was kind of small. This held my Nikon D5000, both lenses, battery charger/cord, extra battery, my son's DS and my daughter's Nikon Coolpix, battery charger/cord and her ipod. So you can see this bag can hold a lot of gear. One of the best features is the rain cover. We were caught in a downpour at both the Kennedy Space Center and Universal Studios and this bag kept all my gear dry. A great bag and a great value!

I use this when I only need one camera body with an attached lens and a second lens and flash. The wrap around protective cover with easy access to the contents of the bag is great when you're out in the rain. Great camera bag!

Had waited many months comparing bags to get the perfect one...and this was it...except I've had major surgery on my wrists and consequently have very limited movement. Had to send it back as couldn't undo the clip that holds the bag together...did get one of my neighbors to open it for me and it is a dream of a bag...perfect for your lenses and arranged well. Went back to B&H and have found a similar one without a clip. The clip is not hard to open as they were on my previous bags so it's not the bag, it was just me!

Packed 1 D700 with attached battery pack and a D300s, both with attached lenses ready to grab and shoot. Perfect for storage e.g. in a land rover on safari. When carrying the shoulder strap is slightly in the way.

Typical LowePro quality, thoughtful design, and great configurability on the inside. Managed to fit 5D body, 3 lenses, flash all on the inside, plus batteries, filters, etc on the outside. And it's still comfortable to carry. What's not to like?

Good bag with lots of room and enough velcro to make it into anything you want. For me it works just fine.... for now! As my equipment expands, it may have to get replaced but that will be a while. This bag has lots of pockets everywhere! I like pockets in bags and this one has LOTS of them for everything. The shoulder strap is quite comfortable and did I mention that it has lots of pockets!

I tried the 160 AW bag and my 5DmkII with a RRS L-bracket wouldn't fit, so I upgraded to the 190 AW. This bag is well made but is a bit of a snug fit for my camera. I've decided to keep this one.

The bag doesnt come with flexible layout options.. yes the interior can be arranged in lots of different ways but its limited.. the position of "loops" of hook'n loops on the interior walls are pre-thought for you which I dont like.. Wish it was all smooth loops covered inside like my smaller Kata bag - which would have had let me design my own way with infinite options. This is just a transport bag for me.

Perfect - plus, the "D Rings" and Shoulder Strap snaps are now metal on the Nova 190 & 200 bags, rather than resin plastic! Great for a larger bag.
And, you cannot beat the All Weather covers on these bags.
Well padded, provides plenty of protection.

The Nova 190 is compact yet roomy enough for my Panasonic DMC-FZ50, Pentax ZX5-N, a digital light meter, 3 Singh-Ray filters, two folding packets of various screw-on filters, a remote switch, battery charger and spare battery, black cloth, memory cards and an outside pocket for a water bottle.
The Nova 190 shoulder bag has a quick release buckle to access my gear and has a feature to seal the entire bag against dust and moisture.
A cinch to carry and use in the field. I love it.
