The Clover Electronics DU512 is a dummy camera designed to resemble a genuine dome camera complete with lens and discreet liner. A simulated camera can be used as a cost saving measure to fill in a gap in a row of real installed cameras. It can also be used on its own in areas where the emphasis is on deterrence rather than actual monitoring and recording.

Browsing around the internet I've seen a million of this type of dummy dome. I was always afraid they'd look cheap. When I saw this at B&H it blew my mind. The dome is tinted, but transparent. The dummy camera is convincing and adjustable. I installed this two stories high under our house roof and I'm afraid it's watching me, and I know it's a dummy!
