Comments about JBL ES150PWB Wireless Powered Subwoofer (Black):
This sub is now part of a 5.1 system that uses some old-school JBL L56's as Fronts. Was afraid the quality and bass of "new" JBL would not compare with "Old" JBL. In this case the wories were unfounded. Sub works great and sounds great. Best sounding sub I've ever heard, regardless of size or price. I'd never buy the next size up. You'll never need it. Set up was easy and will never own another "wired" sub. Only drawbacks (1) No remote control to dial it down on the (very) few occasions it just overpowers the rest of the sound. (2) Confused status LED. Manual says it's red when in Standby or with no signal, Orange with signal and no input, and green with signal and input. Mine has orange and green status backwards, but besides that, works great. I'd buy it again just based on sound and convenience.

This has made such a big difference in our surround sound. The wireless remote feature is great as well. We were able to hook it up immediately and didn't have to run wires.
