I've only had this for one wedding but during the vows, the lav part developed a terrible electrical static that mysteriously went away as we neared the end of the vows. Then at the dance I noticed that the plug in transmitter that I was using seemed to splatter all the high frequencies. I want to use this a couple of times more before I pass judgment but right now I think this has been a bust.

Comments about Azden 105ULX - 105 Series UHF Wireless Microphone Combo System:
I use the mics for interviewing in manufacturing and "shop" locations. Being cable free in an industrial locations adds so much to the safety factor. I thought i'd have more range though, but it was workable with a little added planning once the range was figured out. Had to stop productions and get more batteries.

Nothing very important to say! Great mic with clear sound. The range though is a little easily perturbed by obstacles (walls, trees etc)

Comments about Azden 105ULX - 105 Series UHF Wireless Microphone Combo System:
Good sturdy metal/plastic design. Could probably take a drop or two without issue. Strong and clear signal transmission. I like that it has a built in gain knob. Only thing that I did not like about this series is individually, each component cost around [$] each. I wanted to buy a second receiver to fully utilize the system but, not at that price.

Comments about Azden 105ULX - 105 Series UHF Wireless Microphone Combo System:
I realised AFTER I made the purchase that you could not switch from the two seperate mic transmitters from the single reciever provided. If you are planning a simple 2 mic shoot, you will need a separate reciever to utilize both mics at the same time.

This is an excellent mic for the price. I use it mainly for interviews in noisy crowded area similar to a news setting. It picks up well and the background noise is limited.
