The Anton Bauer QRP-EX1 is a pouch style gold mount for the Sony PMW-EX1. This mount offers all the connectivity to use Anton Bauer 3-Stud batteries within a pouch that can be used on the belt or hung from the shoulder.
- Versatility
- The Gold Mount system is designed to be extremely versatile and allows the user to easily grow with new cell technology.
- Worldwide Acceptance
- The Gold Mount is offered as original equipment (OEM) by virtually every major video manufacturer.
- PowerTap
- This exclusive Anton/Bauer feature allows a camera mounted light, wireless microphone, or other DC accessory to be powered from the camera battery.
- Automatique
- This feature of the Gold Mount is standard with most new camcorders. A special power circuit in the Gold Mount mates with the VTR roll signal in the camera/camcorder allowing an Ultralight-2 to turn on/off automatically in sync with the recorder.
- InterActive Viewfinder
- The Gold Mount includes a special InterActive contact that transmits the fuel computer signal from a DIGITAL battery to the viewfinder "Fuel Gauge" included in many cameras/camcorders.

Comments about Anton Bauer QRP-EX1 Pouch-Style Gold-Mount for PMW-EX1:
Video Production; music videos, weddings, shorts. The pouch is only big enough to hold the small Anton 50 battery. And The camera doesn't have a battery life reading when using the adapter, which it normally does when using a Sony battery. I guess in some crazy situation the cord could get knocked out while filming, but I haven't experienced any problems. Overall I'm glad I bought it, I can use the Antons that I already own instead of buying more Sony specific batteries.
