Knoll Light Factory Pro v2.5.2 from Red Giant is a software plug-in for After Effects, Motion, Final Cut Pro, Avid AVX, and Premiere Pro. The software is used to create lens flare effects. It features 70 preset flare effects, and even includes an editor that allows you to create your own.
- Preset and Custom Flares
- You'll be able to choose from any of 70 preset flare effects. There is also a custom lens editor with 19 lens elements that allows you to create and save your own effects. The presets have been used in such films as Planet of the Apes*, The Day After Tomorrow, Star Trek, and Dreamgirls. 1
- Designed by John Knoll
- The software is designed by all-star Hollywood effects artist John Knoll. In addition to working on the Star Wars prequels, John was responsible for the visual effects in such classic films as Hudson Hawk, Baby's Day Out, and Deep Blue Sea.
- Compatibility
- The software plug-in is compatible with After Effects, Motion, Final Cut Pro, Avid AVX, and Premiere Pro. It works on both Windows and Mac OS X computers.
