The Trapcode Echo Space v1.0 Software Plugin from Red Giant allows you to more easily work with multiple layer instances in After Effects. You can work with an image, text, footage, or compositions in a single layer; Echo Space will create multiple versions of that layer that can be grouped or controlled individually. Movement and effects can ripple through the stack of layers, complete with offset and delay controls.
- Painless Layer Creation
- Echo Space allows you to create hundreds of instances of footage, text, or solids as individual 3D layers within After Effects. These layers can cast shadows on each other, and can be animated individually or as a group.
- Rendering Options
- You'll be able to render layers with After Effects' OpenGL preview engine in the Composition window, or via the OpenGL option in the program's render queue.
- Sophisticated Animation
- You'll be able to apply the same motion to sequences of layers as a group, complete with specific time delays or offsets in 3D space. This allows you to create intricate falling-domino or follow-the-leader-style animations in seconds, without the need for time-consuming layer-by-layer updates.
