The Trapcode Starglow Software Plugin from Red Giant is a fast-rendering multi-directional glow effect. You'll be able to use it to create multi-colored start shaped glints, similar to those created by camera filters. Each customizable glow consists of up to eight directions, each with its own color map and streak length.
- Powerful Presets
- Starglow features 29 presets, including Aura, Romance, Mars, Chemistry, Electric, and more. Each preset can be fully customized using controls for eight directional points, color maps, shimmer, complex gradients, and streak length.
- Dazzling Reflections
- You'll be able to use Starglow to simulate stars or reflections of light on water. Highlights in the clip will be accentuated in Starglow, regardless of whether the clip features real or simulated water. This effect has been used on the Discovery Channel, Toyota Scion commercials, and numerous music videos.
- High-Quality Rendering
- Starglow supports both 16-bit and 32-bit rendering, ensuring compatibility with a variety of hosts. Render times can be measured in frames per second, without a loss in quality.
