The Sky 6 Professional Edition from JMI is an innovative evolution in astronomy software since the Sky's introduction over twenty years ago. This version is specifically designed to address professional needs, which is why it has been used by more observatories and classrooms and why it controls more automated telescopes than any other astronomy software on the market today. It offers a powerful data base and can accurately depict the night sky for any date from 4713 B.C. to 10,000 A.D. This recent edition will interface with any telescope equipped with an SGT system (Slew Go-To telescopes). The Sky 6 Professional Edition requires a Pentium PC loaded with one of the following: Windows 95, 98, Me, NT, 2000 or XP and is also capable of exhibiting 256 colors or more. Also, it requires a CD-ROM drive, 16MB of RAM and a minimum 35MB of hard disk to fully be operational.
