The JMI Telescopes 1.25" Standard Extension Tube adds 1.6" (~41mm) of optical path length to your telescope combination, and is useful for retaining the optical path length when replacing a star diagonal or a prism with a shorter accessory, such as a photo adapter.  It uses a standard set screw to affix your 1.25" accessory.  A JMI Extension Tube also reduces your minimum focusing distance, allowing closer observation of subjects when focus is moved out by eyepiece projection, use of a Barlow lens, etc.
