The JMI Telescopes 3" to 3.25" Threaded SCT Output Adapter is made to allow telescopes with 3" focuser barrels to accept accessories made to mate with the 3.25" male threading found on some oversized Schmidt-Cassegrain scopes.
The "input" end (where the light would enter this adapter) is a 3" outer diameter unthreaded barrel, and the "output" end (where light exits this adapter) has a 3.25" male threading.
