The JMI Telescopes DRO Hand Unit is just the controller box that is used with a JMI Telescopes MOTOFOCUS, EG, or NGF focus motor and a DRO Encoder Assembly.
It uses a telephone-type cord to attach to the DRO Encoder Assembly, which in turn is attached to the MOTOFOCUS focus motor.
In addition to the telephone-type cord which attaches to the DRO Encoder Assembly, this DRO Hand Unit also has a 1/8" (3.5mm) miniphone cord so that you have the option of directly commanding the JMI focus motor without the use of the DRO Encoder Assembly.
The DRO Hand Unit is powered by a supplied 9-volt battery.
- Attaches to DRO Encoder Assembly, but can also be used directly upon JMI MOTOFOCUS, EV, or NGF focus motors if desired (through 3.5mm miniphone connection)
