I use these speakers hooked up to my PS3 and the sound is just awesome! I can hear all the footsteps of the other players all around me. I feel so guilty, like I'm cheating.

I put it up easy and quick in my my college dorm and now have the best party/movie room!!
Great sound and bass that gets me into a little more trouble than i should right now... but it's so hard not to blast good music with these speakers!

Fills the room nicely with sound. I wanted to trim down from the huge speakers I had and was a bit leery, but all is well. They are fantastic for the price.

Those are clearly meant for casual use or apartments. With a good a/v receiver, those little speakers does a surprising work. I didn't even have to play with the basses or trebles on my receiver. Using them on Yamaha RX-V367 5-CHANNEL HOME THTR RCVR (BLK) - YARXV367BL. The protective tissue is easily scratch-able, so be really careful while installing them!

I bought these speakers for my dad. They not only look great, but they sound great! Lots of rich, room filling bass from the sub, too. I would like to buy another set of these for my bedroom.

The worst part about these speakers is the speaker wire that ships with them. Other than that, the system is very reasonable for the price.
If you are looking for blasting, or perfectly crisp, sound, keep looking. A lot of other speakers out there are much nicer, but for just adding basic surround sound in a small area, this do a great job for a great price.

High Yamaha quality and excellent sound. The satellite speakers are clean, clear, and crisp, and the sub-woofer delivers deep, solid bass. Overall I feel it's a great product and an excellent value for the price.

I hooked these up to an older Sony home theatre digital receiver (str de-695) and I am really impressed with the way these speakers sound for the price I paid. I was also impressed with the quality, style, and finish. These were a great buy!

Used in conjunction with Yamaha HTR-6240 receiver. Sound is clear and fills the room nicely. Fit & finish is impressive, feels like a quality product that should hold up for years to come. I selected these speakers b/c I did not want speakers dominating my living room. I have them mounted in the four corners of my living room and they do not detract from the overall appearance of the room. The subwoofer provides good bass and is attractive looking. Overall a great product.

the speekers sound good the the sub is only 50 watts RMS but it is a good price. and buy thicker speeker wire 16/14 gauge.

This product is great for the money and for my master bedroom. Sounds magnificent and quick to hook up. Plenty of wire included. I have yet to find any cons with this product.

The YAMAHA NS-SP1800BL 5.1 speaker set (a low-end speaker set) is a
great choice to be coupled with The Yamaha RXV 363 5.1 dolby
digital, Pro Logic II Audio Receiver and with 2 pairs of copper
banana plugs, 100 FT of 14 AWG Gauge speaker wire, 2 pairs of
component cables, an additional 12 FT subwoofer coaxial digital
wire, to add to the kit-included coaxial wire that Yamaha provides,
usable between the unit and a digital TV receiver or DVD player. ,
Both are low-end product offerings in Yamaha's lineup, but carry
forth outstanting quality, that is on-par with their brand name,
and marketplace reputation.

In sum, Yamaha definitely offers something for the bargain-minded
end user, both in speakers and in receivers, while maintaining
quality from start to finish, allowing for a great home theatre
experience.

Great sound and good looking. Works well with Yamaha Receiver purchased separately. Plenty of hookup wire. Well worth the price if you are looking for a good solution for home audio with your TV. One very minor issue... cannot put subwoofer directly against a solid surface on "right side" of subwoofer since that is where port is at.
