Comments about D-Link DCS-920 Securicam Wireless G Internet Camera:
If your are techniucally inclined the installation process is very easy. I had it working out of the box wihtin 15 minutes. resolution and frame rates are not the greatest, but good enough for nonitoring coverd areas. the software porovided for "motion detection" needs more work it is not very intiutive, but it "works". I wish they had a more detailed prosecure for connecting to the internet.

Comments about D-Link DCS-920 Securicam Wireless G Internet Camera:
The camera is fairly easy to setup to view over the internet. But that's after researching on the internet. The documentation is not very clear on how to setup the camera with a dynamic ip. 1. Run wizard, set static ip. 2. Setup dyndns account or go to dlink site to set one up. 3. Set camera to call to dyndns or set router to, but not both, 4. portforward router to camera.
The camera's picture I would equate to very low VHS quality. So, don't expect a clear camcorder picture. I was able to log into the camera on my Blackberry to see stills but not video.

Comments about D-Link DCS-920 Securicam Wireless G Internet Camera:
It's not even half the range of my old DCS-2100+ which I bought at about the same price as the DCS-920 several years ago. Why DLink discontinued a perfectly working model and replace it with this inferior designed model is beyond me.

Comments about D-Link DCS-920 Securicam Wireless G Internet Camera:
Using the product for a web cam in a karate school has been a challenge. If you're a Mac user, the software is for Windows and the support is minimal. You'll have to figure it out for yourself. I'm using it with EvoCam and had lots of issues.
