I have use this wireless mic system everytime I have a gig regardless of the function. Interviews for sporting events, wedding reception live feed from DJ, playing at an event with self powered speakers wirelessly, broadcasting church events etc. I guess what i'm saying is buy this unit if you are serious about your work. Many might say it can't be that good at that price range but I would disagree. This product performs professionally regardless of the function.

I bought this lav mic for the upcoming interviews I have to do for the EPK kit of a feature film. I used it within the first week of my purchase in an interview with one of our actors from LA.
The audio was crisp, and had a lot of depth to it.
It doesn't come with a wind screen or any other wind protection, so make sure you get something like a windscreen or furry windjammer from Rycote, to go with it for outdoor applications.
