• Provides superb 1280 x 720 image quality in 3-chip DLP projection. Low maintenance, highly reliable DLP technology delivers high brightness and unsurpassed color, brightness uniformity and control capabilities in a native widescreen format.

• Comes standard with dust sealed DMDs to prevent contaminants from getting on imaging surfaces. This ensures a crisp, dust-free, high-brightness, high resolution image, with the added assurance of less maintenance in harsh environments.

• 3-chip 720 engine is driven by Xenon illumination and delivers superior image quality, repeatability of colors and the ability to edgeblend and tile images - whether multiple projectors on a single screen, or multiple screen displays. The enhanced optical system in the DW8K also allows for a film-like color experience.

• With 10-bit image processing, the DW4Kc offers high bandwidth signal processing. The high bandwidth supports additional functionality such as Picture-in-Picture and seamless switching between sources.

High Performance

• The DW8K features a user-replaceable, 1.2kW CERMAX Xenon pre-aligned lamp module with adjustable lamp power for lower brightness. The stable color temperature over the course of the lamp life (1500 hours) and the power range provides the best lamp technology for color matching across multiple screens.

• Features a contrast ratio of 1600-2000:1 full field (450:1 ANSI minimum). With the motorized IRIS, you can adjust for high contrast ratio and better black levels, making these projectors ideal for any given application.

• Motorized lens functions provide power focus, zoom, horizontal and vertical offset functions all at the touch of a button. Auto set-up recognizes sources and sets up correct brightness, contrast and position.

• An optional suite of specifically designed lenses is available for the DW8K. These include both fixed and zoom lenses ranging from 0.8:1 through to a 5.0-8.0:1 zoom, featuring a durable lens mount with motorized horizontal and vertical offset.

Conveniences

• Operation and maintenance of the DW8K is easy as well. Field-alignable DMDs and a fully dust sealed DMD system put full control in the hands of the user. Replacement lamp cost is low and it includes a two years parts and labor (excluding the lamp) warranty.

• Built-in light shutter, internal variable contrast aperture and quick lens insertion, make the DW8K easy to work with.

• User-friendly Graphic User Interface makes operation and set-up uncomplicated. The GUI enables full and easy control of the projector. Multiple control options include built-in backlit keypad, IR and wired remote keypad; RS-422 or RS-232 control; or through ChristieNET via the Ethernet port.

Inputs/Outputs

• The DW8K offers installation flexibility and compatibility with any data, video or HDTV source in use today, from VGA to QXGA. The multi-standard video decoder and, horizontal and vertical scaling of all inputs gives you the ability to connect to virtually anything.

• Inputs include RGBHV/YPbPr via 5 BNC, DVI-I for digital/analog RGB/YPbPr (HDCP), composite and S-Video, two (2) RS-232 ports, RS-422 port and one GPI port.

• Two optional slots for analog/digital modules. The optional Dual SD/HD-SDI Input Module allows for the connection of both a SD (Standard Definition) and HD (High Definition) Serial Digital Input, each with its own loop-through.

• For total projector monitoring and control the DW4Kc has built-in Ethernet networking for full compatibility with ChristieNET.
